"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

"We can't even begin to tell you how happy we are with the work that was done on our home. Our house went from being the "ugly duckling" of our street to the "beautiful swan" after Roman's crew was done with our home. Bill, Rob and Evan were the men who did our front porch, and it's what sets the look for the house. I could not have asked for three finer men who were a pleasure to get to know, and appreciate their workmanship. The guys would show up around 6:30am, and were ready to begin at 7am. They had the old porch torn off in a day, and over the next several days, an entirely new porch was framed and the most beautiful wood was used for the new flooring, along with white vinyl railings. They also put in my new front door and storm door to complete the project. For the siding, gutters, downspouts, soffit & fascia, I've not seen men work this hard and tirelessly in a long time. Fredericko and Jose would show up around 8am every day, and work until they had no daylight left to work in. The finished product looks incredible, and we are so grateful for the hard work the men put in to transforming our home. I've attached photos to the review so that you can see the amazing transformation of our home. "Chris had come out and given a bid on some repair work when I was looking to buy this house in early April.  Once I purchased it I decided to simply replace the roof instead, and he came out and gave me a bid for that as well.  Although it took a bit for him to make it out the second time, it was a busy time of year and several other roofers I contacted didn't make it out at all or didn't give me an estimate in a timely fashion.  I thought the price Chris gave me was very reasonable for the amount of work that they did, and once we agreed on it he had a new roof on there just a couple of weeks later.  The new roof looks great, and I'll definitely be considering Home Crafters for work in the future.

"V & J Contracting & Roofing was one of 8 companies that I contacted to get quotes to build a deck off my back porch to the pool we had installed in the fall the year before. Being the 1st time we needed to hire a professional to come in for a major build we were quite nervous. Jason came out to site the deck and take measurements. I felt good after meeting him personally. My wife and I were happy with the quote. Jason was very quick to return any call ore text I sent him. I was at work the week they worked on my deck and my wife was at home. Everyone there was considerate and treated my family nice. The deck come out beautiful and was exactly as we wanted. The only negative thing with the deck experience was something that was not in the control of any one and it was the rain that pushed the build back, however Jason was in contact with us and we were kept informed of this and all. My whole family enjoyed the deck all summer. We were happy built the price, the build and the crew themselves. When It is time for our next project Jason will be my 1st call."
