"Hayden and Mark F did a great job! I am pleased with their work! My driveway is now level again as are my sidewalk and patio. They had large voids underneath and now feel stable and look great!"

"Brian came over after we had talked with several contractors about a concrete porch underside (in basement room) and one of those contractors made us think the concrete was in such a bad state of "imminent failure" that it needs a full replacement. So, while we continued to get quotes for a full replacement, we also asked a retired architect friend to give his opinion. He did not think concrete was so bad and he was glad we were having a structural engineer (Brian) coming over a few days later. Brian explained why he did not think the concrete was in need of full replacement (very expensive!) and also the damage was not a foundation/structure integrity issue (not "imminent failure"). We had spoken to several contractors and the cost to fully replace is upwards of 15-20 thousand dollars. From the state of the concrete, Brian did not believe the "symptoms" warranted a full replacement and that the more likely issue was simply that we never "sealed" the concrete with epoxy (and only painted the concrete porch). Given the sky-rocketing costs to do any home repairs, it seems more reasonable for us to do first level repair (not replace) that Brian suggests. Brian's honest and informative consultation (for free!!!) is piece of mind and a HUGE savings. We greatly appreciate Brian coming over to educate us - on his own dime. We will definitely ask Brian to come over again if/when we think we need an honest assessment of our home foundation needs."

"Alati Excavating did a fantastic job fixing the concrete on my driveway. Rocco is a great guy to deal with and really knows the work. He even leveled out an area beside my house and out rock down so I had a good place to park my RV during the winter. Will definitely be using these guys again."

"Our floor has been slanted since we moved into our home. We contacted Aquaguard for an estimate, and they walked us through exactly what they wanted to do to stabilize our floor. We went with them because of the walk through of the c-channel they installed during the estimate process. Everything went well. Our floor is raised and stabilized. It is not perfectly level, but we just did not want to end up in our basement. The guys that came were great, and we would hire them again."

"The salesperson David was very honest and had no interest in upselling. He strongly advised against any interior drains for my basement, and he instead recommended an exterior drain called HydroBlox for my backyard. The estimate for the HydroBlox was $3,400. The installation occurred a few weeks later. Three employees used a machine to dig a trench in my backyard, and then because of utility lines, they hand-dug another trench in my side yard. They installed the pieces of HydroBlox and covered them with dirt. I expect the HydroBlox to properly drain the water from my yard, but if they do not, then I will update my review in the future."

"Chris and his crew -Tony, Wayne and Don - were very professional and knowledgeable. The fencing panels were not preassembled and had to be built on site. The men did an absolutely perfect job and the fence looks spectacular. Chris is a wealth of information on all things pertaining to construction. I would definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone needing work done on their home or business. The name of his company says it all...'Do'It Right Construction. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Charleroi, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
