He set an appointment, was here on time. He came and he gave me a very fair quote and explained everything in great detail. He actually had a cancelation so he called knowing that my situation was dire. He came, installed the system, explained exactly what he had done, how the new system works and the process that I needed to do to maintain the system. He worked quietly and cleaned up everything afterwards. You wouldn't have known anything was even done unless you had seen it before hand. I feel that Jim was very fair in his price and very reasonable compared to others. I am extremely pleased with all of the interactions with Jim. He told to call with any questions or concerns. "I was told that the fee to simply come into my house to assess my furnace (that was not working) would be $260 on a Wednesday afternoon... and I was told this fee would not be absorbed into the work if I chose to have it done. If this company charges such an exorbitant assessment fee, I could only believe they would inflate other fees as well. I hired another local company for half that fee to assess then repair my furnace. Shame on Heritage Home Service."

"Our heater stopped functioning on Nov 27, 2023 and we called Petro who had done the maintenance on it before and replaced a motor two years ago. They were responsive and a technician came two days later. He worked for 3 hours without explaining what the problem was. Then said he needed to replace the motor. He fixed the problem and left without much explanation. Two days later a bill of $2500 came via email. No explanation, no break-down. I called 4 times over the last 20 days, spoke to 4 different reps and was promised that a supervisor will contact me with the bill details. Nothing happened. Irresponsible customer service and unprofessional behavior. They show all the symptoms of big, bureaucratic, and indifferent service company. I would not recommend Petro if you have options of more personalized services."
