They did a super job, inspecting our chimney and cleaning it. Even showed us video of our chimney and made suggestions on other repairs that should be done. There was no "hard sell" but he was very specific about some minor repairs that would provide more energy efficiency. He was very professional and the work was done efficiently and cleanly. "I had Best Chimeny out for a repair estimate. I had been quoted a lot of money from a different company and wanted a second opinion. My understanding from my initial home inspection led me to believe the first estimate was off. Best came out and completed an inspection. I was informed that it was a few simple repairs that would be needed and the price was about $1500 cheaper than the other company that want me to put in a whole new fire box and chimney stack. <br /> I have not contracted the work out yet but the inspector was professional and nice. "Craig was very professional from start to finish.  We have a gas fireplace that we haven't used since we purchased our home almost 5 years ago.  We called Craig and made an appointment to come give us and estimate.  He not only gave us an estimate but he gave us a lot of good suggestions on how to make the fireplace look good.  So agreed to have him do the work.  Craig came back after 2 weeks and did the following work.  <br /> 1. He painted the inside of our fireplace black so when the new fireplace doors are installed it will look like a tv screen and it <br />      made  it look darker and nicer. <br /> 2. He removed some of our ceramic logs and replaced them with better ones he had at his shop at no charge.  <br /> 3. He cleaned all the junk stuff that had fallen into our fireplace. <br /> 4. He added new pebbles/fireplace dirt <br /> 5. He rearranged everything that made the fireplace flame look bigger and brighter. <br /> 6. He purchased a door for us that we selected from the brochures he should us at the time he did the estimate.  He installed the <br />     door and showed us how to use it. <br /> 7. "I hired Motown Fire to convert my wood burning fireplace to gas and install the burner and gas logs. I got bids from five different contractors to do the work. Motown’s was the second lowest. There was one contractor whose price was lower than Derek’s but I later discovered that contractor did not have a mechanical license. Most contractors wanted several hundred dollars more than Motown for the gas line work. One of the stores I went too wanted double what Motown charged me. Another thing I really liked about Motown was Derek’s honesty and willingness to install a gas log set I purchased on my own. I spent a lot of time researching gas logs sets. I quickly learned that, like most things these days, you can buy everything you need on Amazon. When Derek came out to give his estimate I mentioned that while didn’t mind paying a professional to install my gas logs, I wasn’t happy that most contractors seemed to be marking up “real fyre” gas logs and burners. Most of the other contractors I spoke with quoted me around $200 more for “real fyre” equipment than what identical models cost on Amazon. When I mentioned this to Derek, he said he understood and would be more than happy to install a log set and burner I bought myself. He even talked me about the proper size and models that would fit my fireplace knowing full well I’d be buying them online. He helped me save a lot of money this way. All the other contractors I got bids from tried to steer me away from buying equipment from anyone but them so they could make even more money. Derek was honest and straightforward. Installation went great. Dustin and Derek completed the work in just over an hour. They were polite, on time, took off their shoes, and cleaned up when they were done. They even installed a damper clamp for free. Derek showed me how to use everything before he left. We couldn’t be happier with how the gas fireplace looks. Motown was honest, professional, and very fair in their pricing. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Between buying the equipment myself and the price Derek charged, I turned my wood burning fireplace into a beautiful and elegant gas one for just over $1,000. One store quoted me $2,000 for the exact same job."

"I'm very happy with the equipment they installed, that is 5-stars all the way. It works very well, is ridiculously quiet, and the install is beautiful; a work of art, just check out the photo. Their service is good. We have had a couple of post install issues (these things happen in hugely complex systems, no knocking them there) and ultimately they have gotten them all squared away. The only downside is that they seem quite busy, so arranging timely service calls has been less than stellar. For the cost, I would expect a more responsive service department. In all, we're very happy with our new combi unit!"
