"We called Mr. Electric to provide a quote for removal of existing and installation of a new light fixture in two-story foyer. They were very responsive and sent out a technician within a couple of hours to provide a quote. Once the technician arrived, he proceeded to complete a in-home survey of our electrical panel, exterior electric box and electric meter. He then reviewed the scope of work and came back inside within about 10 minutes. He went over the home inspection and then provided the quote that’s where things went sideways. The quote was $1169! 😳 Again, that is to remove an existing light fixture in a foyer and replace it with a more current contemporary styled one. We explained that the quote was excessive based on our estimates from other providers. He indicated that they had just revised their pricing and that their pricing was in line the other major electric service providers. Needless to say, we explained to the technician that we would not be going with their services due to the price point."

"Woody and his Son from Energized Electric did an awesome job. They listened to what I wanted and didn't try to oversell or push me to do upgrades like other companies wanted. They also didn't charge me a service fee to come and give me a free estimate like other companies. Woody would also give recommendations on lighting and man was he spot on. Everything turned out awesome and I would highly recommend to others."

"Mr. Electric provided excellent service for me under difficult circumstances. A building contractor damaged a wire and buried it under 42” of concrete. Ryan Corley, Mr. Electric’s wire detection specialist, was able to locate the wire accurately. Electricians Jeff Shipkosky and Khefren Johnson spent two and a half very long days, in 93-degree heat, digging around the perimeter of my house. Both ends of the damaged wire were eventually located six feet underground, which is considerable deeper than code requires. Justin David, Mr. Electric’s manager, was here working alongside his men and provided all the support possible to them. He maintained full contact and communication with me throughout the entire process. These men, along with a crew of assistants, are a class act company. I was very impressed at the dedication of Mr. Electric and recommend them highly."

"Mr. Kautz has completed several electrical projects for us over the past few years. The most recent was to install a higher-voltage line to accommodate a new electric oven/range -- just in time for Thanksgiving. He also reconfigured some basement lighting and outlets to help us set up a usable space in our unfinished basement.
In previous years Mr. Kautz has installed ceiling fans and was able to troubleshoot a problem with our outdoor lighting (an electric eye needed to be replaced).
In all of his work, Mr. Kautz has had reasonable and competitive bids; has completed work on-time; has treated our home with the utmost respect, leaving it clean of all construction mess. He has also proven to be honest and trustworthy. Additionally, Mr. Kautz also discussed safety and explained why (in the case of the range wiring) extra steps needed to be taken to ensure adherence to both code and common sense safety guidelines.
I would trust Mr. Kautz professional electrical services for any sized project in my home."

"With 3 hours until closing, we called Denny's Electric and they sent someone out immediately to look at the job and provide a quote to remediate. Although there were many options available, Denny's Electric sought to quote the most cost effective solution for our issue and did so in a timely basis. Their prompt assistance allowed us to move forward with the closing as planned. Although we've not moved forward with a remediation option yet, we would strongly recommend that others consider Denny's Electric for future electrical projects."

FAQs for electric vehicle charging station installation service projects in Cincinnati, OH

Yes. You can plug your EV into a standard 120-volt household outlet, but this is Level 1 charging and it’s slow. A 120-volt outlet adds only three to five miles of range per hour, so a full charge can take days. If you rely on your vehicle daily, plan your charging schedule carefully or consider upgrading to a Level 2 charger that runs on a 220–240-volt circuit for much faster turnaround.

Installing a Level 2 EV charger can raise your home’s value by adding modern convenience and energy efficiency. Buyers who already own—or plan to own—an electric vehicle appreciate a ready-to-use charging station, and many see it as a forward-thinking amenity. By meeting that demand now, you position your property as a smart, sustainable choice that can command a higher price in an increasingly competitive market.

You don’t need to plug in every night. Instead, match your charging schedule to your driving habits. Many drivers find that topping up every few days keeps the battery at a healthy state of charge and extends overall battery life. Occasional, deeper charges are fine for longer trips, but day-to-day, intermittent charging is enough to cover commutes while reducing wear on the battery.
