"It went fine. It was for eight hours of work and they charged four hours of their time for it. It didn't take that long but I still got a good deal out of it because it's a fixed amount of time. It was a good thing. They worked really good. I bought the part for him and he put in the system and it came out good. They brought two guys. They worked very efficiently. I didn't have them sit for eight hours. I go my money's worth out of the deal. It was a retro fit and they have this limited crawlspace."

"Amma Electric came to our rescue this afternoon, and I am writing this review to rave about their excellent service!!!  It's the day before a long 4-day Thanksgiving weekend, and we were at our wit's end with an absent electrician and SMUD.  I turned to Angie's List for help.
We are in the middle of a remodel, and we'd been without power for two full weeks.  I needed a new electrician on an emergency basis to come out, change the three big cables that connect our home to SMUD, and do it quickly.  I called Amma Electric, and Cheryl answered the phone in a professional and friendly manner.  She listened carefully, took down the information, and immediately put me in contact with Dan.  Dan was able to come out within the hour to take a look.  Dan left to get supplies and returned to complete the job about two hours later.  We needed to be in contact with Dan while he was gone, and Dan always answered his phone or called us back right away.  I really appreciated that!  Dan was able to do the actual work in about 30 minutes so we were ready for a county inspector to sign off and have SMUD reconnect our power the same day.  Throughout the entire encounter, Dan was extremely professional and thorough.   He was also friendly and sympathetic to our dilemma and went above and beyond to help us get power before the holiday weekend.   Dan knew we were desperate and could have charged us more  money, but his price was reasonable and fair.  He even gave us an Angie's List discount.
We highly recommend Dan and Amma Electric, and we would not hesitate to refer them or use them again in the future.

"I was having problem of breaker tripping every time I used microwave and toaster at same time.  I heard of H&H from a friend who had work done by this company.  I found their listing on Angie's list and was impressed by the reviews.  I called and talked to owner Nick and he offered to check out my electrical issue with no charge and let me know if it was something that I could resolve or if it required electrical work and that he would give me estimate.  Nick came to my house that day and found that I needed dedicated circuit for my microwave.  I asked for estimate for installation of outside motion detector light and "can" lights in kitchen and front room, in addition to circuit for kitchen.   I found the estimate reasonable and scheduled work.
Nick and his crew scheduled my project later that week and would have done work a day earlier if I didn't have prior commitments.  Nick and his crew arrived 10 minutes early (something that I haven't experienced often) and completed work and cleanup by 4p.m.
 From our first meeting, I felt very comfortable with Nick and equally with his crew when they arrived for work.  The were polite and friendly but very professional.  Nick would seek my approval on every step of the work and answered any questions that I had.  The quality of the completed work was beyond my expectations and the cleanup left my house in better condition than before the work began.  I would definitely recommend this company and will used them for any future electrical work that I cannot do myself.

"Air conditioning in one zone stopped working over very hot weekend.  Called three companies to get a quote on possibly replacing both zones before I spent money on repairing a 17+ year old unit.
Diamond was the first company with availability.  Before they came over to give a quote, Bob called to ask me a few questions about the nature of the problem.  He speculated over the phone of what the problem might be and what the cost of fixing it would be.
He arrived for the appointment at the appointed time and proceeded immediately to fix the unit while talking to me about an estimate to replace both zones (2 systems).  He spent extra time hunting down an electrical connection issue in the unit and when done, checked out the flow readings of the system.
$258 dollars fixed the problem.  Since I had scheduled him for a quote, he offered to remove the new part that he had just installed or I could leave it in and if I decided to buy a new system, they would credit the repair of this unit back against it.  I elected to have him leave the fix in place.
Bob quoted me an exceptionally good price per unit for a quality Lennox system.  In fact a competitor who came the following day said that he wanted to see a copy of a written quote because Diamond's price was too good.
Although I've decided for the time being to not replace both systems, I would select Diamond Heating and Air in a second!
