"Courtesy Electric re-wired our large 1940's house to bring it up to current codes, and we could not be more satisfied with their work. After experience very shoddy work by two other electric companies, I found Courtesy Electric and I will never hire any other company, but Courtesy Electric. They are highly professional and completed the re-wiring to the standards that I had hoped would be the result. Previous work that Courtesy Electric provided us was to undo the work of another electric company that had incorrectly wired some of our breakers. I highly recommend Courtesy Electric for any electrical work."

"Dhowed up in a timely manner. He described the work he would need to do to complete the project. Gave me a quote, which was lower than expected. He said if we wanted, he could do job on spot, and it would take just over an hour. he completed the job just as explained. He showed me his final work. He took pictures, and he was done. By the way the work involved our electrical box. He was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. I had read good reviews about Bolt Electric, now confirmed though our project, that this is a good, trustworthy company. Many thanks Bolt Electric. I highly advise at least a quote for your job from them. I will call again if needed."

"We had two other companies come out before hiring A Better Electric. The first two companies came out, and spent no more then 10 mins. in the house. One was 40 mins. late and never bothered to call letting us know. The other company looked it over, said they would send us a estimate but we never heard back from him.

Dave from A Better Electric was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He called to confirm our estimate time, he showed up a few minutes earlier then promised. When he arrived he spent plenty of time listening to us and looking over what we wanted done. Due to the old age of our home he decided to also do a quick inspection of our wiring and our main electrical box.

He had found some serious issues with the old wiring. When he took the cover off our main box he spotted many wires which had been melted away. He showed us how our box was over loaded and was a fire hazard.(the other two companies never bothered to look in our box)

He was able to give us options to choose from which was nice.  We now have a new larger panel with a whole home surge protector, fans installed with dimmers, upgraded outlets and some new wiring.

We hired him on the spot and scheduled our appointment. He again arrived on time, there was no mess and was done on time as promised.

We also plan on getting a whole home generator in the near future and will use Dave again.

"They were great.  I had scheduled an appointment and received a call an hour before advising that my technician was delayed at a job that was proving more complicated than originally expected and asked if they could reschedule for the next day.  Due to the inconvenience, they advised that they would be providing the service free of charge.  I was very impressed.
When the technician arrived, he was very professional, clearly knew what he was doing and after getting all the wiring connected correctly, reconfigured all my components to work in the most efficient manner.  He walked me through how to use them all and did not leave until he was comfortable that I could access the appropriate components correctly with the remotes.
I received my refund for what I had originally paid through Angie's List from Smart Home Services promptly.  I will definitely use them again!
