They left the place just as clean as it was when they got there. Can’t say enough nice things about this company. We finally bought our home in the area of Coral Gables. It’s a property of 2000 sqf more or less that features hardwood floors everywhere. As you can imagine, we wanted to remodel a little bit before moving into the house, so we set up a budget for painting, remodeling the kitchen, and of course fixing the floors that seemed over 100 years old. We contacted Mr. Martinez through Angie’s List because we have used this website before and we have had pleasant experiences with the services offered by the contractors registered here. We were very impressed with Martinez Wood Floors’ website and the pictures of jobs they have done before, so of course they were the ones we wanted to work in our house. We sent them a message and they replied right away asking for more information about the floors and a phone number to arrange a visit. They came on time and previously called to let us know that they were on their way. Properly dress and with vast knowledge they measure the house and explained everything that needed to be done to repair and leave those floors looking like new. We liked the energy and the level of compromise they put in their work. We did not have to look anywhere else, they were the ones we were looking for. The other important factor was the price; we did not want to go cheap but we also did not want to invest a fortune on the floors. Right on the spot, their prices are very good. They sent us the estimate that same day via email, very sophisticated and explaining everything the customer needs to know. We went ahead and booked them. They arrived at the time we had scheduled with all the tools to do the job. They repaired and sanded the floors at an incredible speed. Everything was very professional and they made sure we liked what they were doing. The owner closely supervised the job. When the floors were ready to be stained, they did some samples for us to choose the color we liked. They did an amazing job! When we got back to the house to review everything, we were flipped by the way the floors looked. All perfect like brand new. They are skilled craftsmen and pay attention to details. After we had paid them everything, we decided to change the baseboards in the house and we had no idea where to choose from, so we called Mr. Martinez to ask him for suggestions. The next day, he brought several samples of baseboards and helped us make the choice. They installed all the baseboards in the house and the cuts were perfect. They have a vast experience on hardwood floors and know what the customer wants and expects from them. We are very happy with them."

"Our old unit quit working and the cost to repair was not worth reviving the antique we had.  We contacted Keys Mechanical and asked for a quote to replace the compressor unit and Jedi one of the principals informed us he would be right over to look at the situation.  He showed up an hour later and after a review of the equipment and layout returned to his office.  He called us in about an hour with the quote for a system to match the manufacturer of the air handler unit for system optimization, something the other vendors did not do.  The price was competitive with the other quotes and we gave him the job especially since he said he could get the new unit and install it the next day.  His crew showed up the next morning for installation.  All members of the crew were very professional and took care to not damage any part of the condo.  To complicate matters movers were also unloading furniture and personal belongings to the condo at the same time and were able to avoid any interference with the moving crew.  The job was completed in a workmanlike manner and to our satisfaction, especially when the AC was working again!

"They have always fixed the problems that we've had. Frustrations? Delays? At times. We live in a flawed world. But overall, service has been professional and well done. It has always been worth the monthly fee and deductibles. If you consider that most appliances today only last five years or so, breakdowns are going to be a given. Our most recent repair will require at least two service calls and an $1800 part. That more than pays for our entire year's fees."

"I found Mr. Hershberger on angies list, after seachingh for a contractor to fix a supposed problem in my attic, according to homeowners insurance company. When I contacted him he was very helpful in answering all my questions and when he came out to my house to inspect the situation, he also called the windstorm inspection company on my behalf to get clarification . I ultimately hired him to install accordian hurricane shutters throughtout my home. His company did exellent work and I was 100% percent satisfied. I will definitely hire him again for other home improvements/ upgrades.
