"The arrived at 9:30 AM brought in the windows and placed then in the rooms they were being installed in. I took down the curtains ahead of the installation and put them back up after they finished a room. They encountered no problems and were finished be 4:30 PM. They did a good job cleaning up and I like my new windows and would recommend them to others."

"The replacement windows by renewal by Andersen were amazing. Completely draft free and has practically eliminated outside noise. Their crew were so friendly, fast and efficient. They answered all my questions, and continuously cleaned as they worked. When they were finished, they cleaned, vacuumed and left the house, perfect. I highly recommend Renewal By Andersen and their installation crew."

"Our experience was WONDERFUL. Tom was very professional, provided us with a quote in-house, and accurately projected the costs and timing for complete window replacement. The quote was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than any other quote we had received (we had 3 other estimates done). The windows themselves are high-quality Alside double-hung vinyl windows including one large picture window in our living room. The installers were professional and very hardworking. They arrived when they said they would and completed the job in even less than the time frame they had projected. They managed the work well and left very little for us to clean after they finished. The windows are beautiful and have already reduced our cooling and heating bills. We would (and have) recommended Tom and Just Windows to anyone who is considering replacing their windows."

"Jake came out to our home and was ever so kind to sit down and talk with us about replacing our windows. He even brought a window with him to show us up front what they are like and how great they are. He explained everything in great detail to us about the company, the installation, and the windows. After his explanation, we wouldn’t choose any other window but from Universals Windows Direct. We are so pleased with our choice going with Universal Windows Direct. Thanks to Jake for his help!"

"It went very well. It was a difficult installation because the previous owner had tarred the windows shut. Dave did a good job and got the work done in a timely manner. There was a hole that he patched and didn't charge extra. We ordered the windows on a Thursday and they were installed the next Tuesday. I would use them again and recommend their service."

"The owner met with me and discussed my needs. The awning was ordered. I was notified of its arrival. The installers showed up on time and did a very professional job. The explained the operation, care, and warranty. They took all packaging with them. I am very pleased with the job, and would recommend the company to anyone. <br />"

"Marc and Joe were beyond helpful throughout this whole process. For having almost all of the windows replaced in our house, they were very easy to work with. The job was initially quoted at a few days, but they were able to knock it all out in one. You would think that getting a job done quickly would mean it was done sloppy, but that's not the case. They were very diligent in the work that was being done and courteous to keep our house clean. From the open communication up front to the service delivered, I can't recommend them enough!"

"Rob and his team are honest and reliable and I look forward to having them replace the rest of our windows and doors once the money is saved.  Rob's price for Pella windows was less than the quote from the local Pella retailer.  In fact, I believe we were able to have Rob paint and install the windows for the same price Pella wanted to charge us just for installation.  They carry a variety of price points, and there is no pressure to buy the top of the line.  In fact, Rob has advised us against spending money on certain things where others probably would have taken advantage of us as new homeowners.  With one of the windows and our front door, there was considerable rot and insect damage discovered at the time of installation.  The crew removed and replaced sheathing, window frames, etc., to ensure that everything was "made right" before the new windows and doors were installed.  This extra work did not result in any increase in the final bill.   Many others in our neighborhood have also used this company for siding/window/door & roof replacements."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Cleveland Heights, OH

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
