"Excellent! I called Thompson's Masonry for an estimate on chimney work. Bob came out within 45 minutes of the phone call and determined that we needed some repairs on our chimney, not a complete rebuild as had been told to us by other companies that had come out (rebuild prices ranging from $1500 to over $4000!). He also pointed out some tuckpointing that needed done on other brick on our house. He said he could do the work the next day. The price and timing were perfect, so we hired him. He showed up the next morning when he said he would (he was even a little early...bonus points!) and worked all day. He communicated with me throughout the day re: the progress. He was always courteous, respectful, and just a nice guy! The whole process was a positive one. The finished chimney and tuckpointing look great! I am so thankful I found Thompson's Masonry on Angie's List and we have already recommended him to friends who need masonry work. On June 6, 2016, I initially rated the service as a D due to the need for me to pay $75.00 to another vendor to install the outside vent cover that the Lowes technician broke during cleaning vents. However, in November 2016 the company called me after seeing my initial review on Angie's list and said they would repay me for the vent cover since it appears that it was the technicians fault. I was very impressed with the professionalism the company demonstrated with reimbursing me. The company representative informed me that I should have called to resolve the situation about the vent cover and they would have replaced it free since their employee broke it."
