"Mike, the owner, arrived on time took out the entire old system and installed the complete new system. The installation appears to be very well done. Area was left nicely cleaned up. According to my research the system units (Furnace, A/C, condensate pump, thermostat, filter etc.) that Mike recommended and installed were a good balance between cost and efficiency. "I was combining bright white cabinets on the perimeter of my kitchen with a walnut peninsula.  That required either getting a single granite that would work with both or two granites that would work with the different woods and each other.  I had searched on my own a couple of times and was leaning toward a particular granite.   Nick was able to talk me out of a bad decision.  He then very patiently evaluated dozens of granites with me, pointing out potential problems with some, narrowing down to others.  His expertise with stone helped me to choose beautiful slabs that work perfectly in my kitchen.  I then purchased the slabs and they were delivered to his shop. 
His process (customer buys slab, Nick's crew fabricates the countertop) yields left-over stone in his shop.  From this, he chose a perfect stone for my laundry room.  He measured, then his crew installed a week later.
For the kitchen, he was able to install less than a week after measuring.  That is amazingly fast turnaround for granite fabrication.  The granites were fabricated perfectly and look gorgeous.  Very professional crew.
Overall, it was a terrific experience.  Stonework is as much art as craft.  Nick has great taste and is willing to share that with his customers to help them make great choices.

"After receiving a ridiculous quote from a big box retail store, I decided to try my luck with Granite Works, and I'm glad I did.
The whole process was wonderful-all their staff were courteous and very helpful, and they answered all my questions completely. Their prices are very reasonable, they have a wide variety of options to choose from, they have good deals and specials, and they don't treat you differently if your project is a small one. They were very honest about all the charges, both actual and potential, and they always made sure I was comfortable with everything.
They explained their process to me and followed it to the letter. Their staff were always punctual, both for the templating, and for the installation. The installation went perfectly, and they gave me clear and specific instructions on how best to care for my new countertops.

"I received a quote from another chimney service to get some panels replaced in my fireplace. When the serviceman did not show up or return my calls, I contacted M & S Chimney's. I should have called them FIRST. Nathan and his team are very professional, they did quality work. Nathan is also very honest- the other guy said that I needed all four panels replaced, Nathan said that only two panels needed to be replaced. The day of the service, everything went perfect. M & S Chimney's is now my "go to" for all my wood-burning fireplace needs. THEY ARE GREAT!!!!"

"Wonderfully! George was prompt, polite & professional. This is my first gas FP and I learned about some routine maintenance I had missed! We had a bad sensor which he replaced. He cleaned the FP, the glass front and checked the switch. All works wonderfully again. What a joy to have such a great experience."
