"Joe the Pro explained what the issue was about and explained how he would fix it. He was polite, friendly and gave me a very fair price quote for the work. He also stated what he would go purchase and when he would return to complete the job and it happened as he stated. Green with Envy can be very trusted."

"Went very well, however would have had them replace more of the chipped bricks. The large chipped obvious ones were replaced, but if the chip was small it was not done. Will have them back to do some more masonry work and have them replace more. George, who estimated the job was the only person to get up on the roof and look at the chimney. All others stood on the ground to give an estimate. George was fair and accurate and gave a very fair estimate. Others wanted to tear down to roof and replace and one wanted to replace the whole chimney. Had 5 estimates and really appreciated the honesty and integrity of Bill Miles company."

"They called back the same day, sent someone out to assess the job, gave ma a price the next day, (and this is the most important part) they showed up and did the job. They did a very nice job and it was completed and cleaned up the next day. I will hire them again."

"Tom and his crew  (zack and E Jay) arrived in time , had all the supplies. ready and started  the job. <br>Once they were up there realized that there was extra work to be done replacing all the wood at top since it was rotten under the existing chase top. They replaced ,took pictures of the whole process as a prove and put the new stainless steal chase top based on what I wanted , the respected my opinion and answered my questions. <br>The chimney sweep was good the guys inside the house were careful and didn't leave any traces after they finish, great clean up and gave me tips on the upkeep since is a different system that the average chimney. <br>I am very happy with their service."

"Pretty darn good.  Without drawings, there are always some variances from what's in mind; but the mechanics of the installation are superb - VERY well done.  What impressed me most was the puntuality  of the crew (rarely a strong point with contractors).  They appeared each morning at 7 on the dot and got right to work.  Also, each man took time to greet us individually.  Their banter and camaraderie were a refreshing change from the usual curse and spit style, too. <br /> I would recommend these guys to friends and this List.  I would suggest that they would do even better if given real drawings and elevations to work from. <br />"

"We needed our front steps replaced. We contacted Mario at Pantalone Construction and he came the next day to see what we needed done. He discussed with us what should be done. We had also talked with two other contractors. Mario impressed us with his knowledge and how he would do the job. He listened to what we were saying. He was very careful with plants near the steps, careful with our lawn and did a great job cleaning up after. The two other workers along with Mario were pleasant, professional and good workers. I would highly recommend Mario and Pantalone Construction. We are very happy with our new steps!!"

"Tony did an excellent job.  He is very detail oriented and very talented.  He is always friendly and polite, and was very patient with my barky dogs.  He showed up every day, cleaned up after himself every night, and the work he did was beautiful.  The only frustration I had was the timing (he originally estimated 2 weeks to complete the job, it took 2 months).  To be fair we did lose a few days here and there over the winter because of horrible weather, but it was difficult because I work from home and I could not access my home office on the second floor for such a long period of time.  All that being said, I would use Tony again, he is an extremely talented contractor, and he wanted the job done right, not just quickly.  If I had known about how long it would take, I would have done it in the spring or summer when I and the dogs were not stuck in the back room of the house all day due to the weather, but the final product was definitely worth it in the end.  If you have a challenging project you need done by a skilled contractor, and speed is not an issue for you, I highly recommend Tony, you won't regret giving him a call. <br />"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Clifton Park, NY

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
