"Patrick and his team were wonderful to work with for our stone and brick repointing! They came on time as scheduled for both the quote (which was very fair for the work that needed done) and actual work start date. The work they did looks amazing, and they took care to make the new sections of mortar have the same style as the old sections on our beautiful Victorian. Patrick even pointed out several other issues (some of which we were aware of), and prioritized them based on severity. We will happily be hiring them again for our masonry needs!"

"Asked for plan and time to completion for the work. What I received was the bums rush and no plan. Since I didn't just fall of the turnip truck, I declined any further contact. Maybe it was just a bad day for them and they may perform nice work. I based my decision on initial contact and interaction.

"Chris and his crew were excellent. The extent of Chris' knowledge was quite impressive. He made me feel like I was finally in good hands by showing and thoroughly discussing everything he found. During his inspection he checked every possible issue that could be causing the problems. He explained the repair processes necessary and showed me as he was doing them. They were courteous and cleaned up, leaving my property cleaner than when they arrived. They were very polite and more than willing to do whatever was necessary to help me complete the project as I wanted. I can not thank Chris and his team enough and would absolutely recommend their services."

"Nick and team were extremely helpful, informative, responsive and did exactly what they said they were going to do (and even better when they said they were going to do it). Nick was very reachable via email and was more than willing to help. I hope to never need a foundation expert again, but if I do I know that I would definitely have them do the work."

"I paid $250 for $500 worth of service. The work was good. It was satisfactory. I did have to discuss it further with the contractor about how much money I would do. We went back and forth. He asked for an additional $250 to make up the $500. I went back to the summary of the deal. We finally agreed that I did in fact buy $500 worth of service for $250. There was a little misunderstanding on his part. The work itself was fine."

"Jerry's did a great job. Jerry gave an estimate. A couple of months later, I called Jerry and the men came out the next day and repaired stucco on our condo. It looks great. Jerry explained what has to be done. I highly recommend Jerry' Stucco and Masonary..Jean"

"It went very well. They called fairly soon to set up a date to begin. Then Mother Nature stepped in and gave us too late season snow events, followed by unceasing rain. Once things cleared up Jim came and started the project. He kept me updated about when he would be here and how things were progressing. I am very pleased with the finished job. What I will add is that Jim really listened to what I wanted, and why. I feel a previous experience with this service from another provider did not give me that feeling."

"After a few emails and phone calls, Jack came out for an estimate on June1st.  I found him to be knowledgeable, engaging and personable.  I have a house built in the 50's and my master stall shower floor grout line between tiles was non-existent.  I had thought about doing an epoxy finish but Jack convinced me he could do a good job installing a new tile floor over the existing one so I decided to go with that option.  He told me to find tile I liked and gave me some parameters.  I did so during the next week but Jack was not available until the end of the month so we scheduled an appointment.  I also had a 'to-do' list of smaller jobs around the house.  Jack said he'd be here six and a half hours and could complete my list in that time frame.
On 6/29, Jack and his nephew Patrick were a little late due to car problems, but did call.  Once here, they went about their work professionally and quietly with Jack concentrating on the shower and Patrick on the caulking and painting.  Patrick didn't seem to mind my sitting in the same room chatting with him.  The guys broke in the middle of the day for an hour and had to go to the hardware store for some supplies.  By the end of the day, I had a brand new tiled shower floor and a caulked sink that absolutely gave my bathroom new life.  The floor looks great!  My big picture living room window had a fresh coat of caulk and paint and the draperies were raised up to the ceiling and new blinds were installed.  A mirror was hung in another bathroom and a painting was hung elsewhere.  The front door was weatherstripped and the foyer window was caulked.  Where wall to wall carpet had previously been removed, holes were filled and cord a round was added by the stairwell.  A faulty door knob was changed out with a new one.  And cracks between the house and the patio were filled.  I certainly feel that the price was reasonable for all of that work which included the major re-tiling of the shower.  I am so glad I decided to go through with this particular project!   I did have a bit of a clean-up, but all in all, a very good job.  I will definitely call Jack again in the future for other work to be done.

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Colmar, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
