His quote was transparent and fair, and he showed up and did the work when he said he was going to. He was communicative through the entire process. "I don't usually write reviews online, but in this situation I cannot help myself. I was blown away by Mark's responsiveness and work ethic. I venture to say that Mark is faster, smarter, more efficient, and more detail-oriented than most any contractor. I was in a desperate situation (had to fire another contractor for unfortunate reasons and NEEDED our only tub replaced and bathroom tiled so my fiancé could use it to recover from surgery in a few days). Mark problem-solved quickly, told me to buy a new tub, and came over Friday at 5 after his regular work day to help me get the tub replaced in under 2 hours. After asking his wife first (classy), he offered to work over the weekend to get the job done. We worked side by side to knock out the bathroom in 2 very long days. Being a new home owner, I was jazzed to learn how to tile and Mark was an excellent leader and teacher. Honestly, I could go on and on. This guy is for real. He's professional, skilled, and efficient as all get out. I'm sure he isn't perfect, but I think you'd be very hard pressed to find a better skilled or more enjoyable contractor in the area. "

"Eugene and his team were very professional and did a great job with my kitchen floor. During the demo part, they ran into some unplanned issues with the flooring, and then later with the tile itself but they always made it work or suggested the best options to move forward. The job was completed on time and the finished floors looks great."

"They were very responsive from the start. They showed up on time, got right to work, and immediately showed they know what they are doing and have a great attention to detail. Brian and PJ did the work, Sam was the contact. I like them all and find them skilled and trustworthy. The handyman work required more time than expected but they worked with me to find a way to get it done and were extremely flexible. Brian even came back in the evening to rehang the door after it dried. That is exceptional customer service. 
On the contract for the bigger projects, they appear very thorough and fair. I have signed for two projects and hope to do more.

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"We hired Western Builders Inc. for our bathroom remodel and they transformed it into a beautiful warm space filled with finish trim details and lighting, The remodel was quite heavy, needed lots of structural repairs from water leaks in the past the floor was collapsing in some areas, needed new plumbing, electrical, all the fixtures bigger window, added dividing wall with pocket door and lots more, they exceeded our expectation, We are absolutely thrilled with the result and grateful for the excellent work and commitment, Sam the owner and Bill the onsite foreman are just a pleasure to work with, and their crew were very respectful and careful of our home during remodel, They adhered to the schedule and budget everything went like clockwork. We definitely recommend them to anybody for any type of remodel, kitchen or bathroom."
