Prior to hiring Torin, he was shown the space and what was needed in order to provide an estimate. The estimate met my needs and budget. He was always a couple minutes early, was genuinely friendly and professional. Each day he started by insuring his work area protected non-workareas from spills or other damage. His work was top-notch, and since the work took several days he made sure he always left with his areas cleaner than before. If I could give him 6 stars, I would. We are already in discussion about finishing this new space into a shelved storage area for the bathroom."

Then Dave Friesen was conscientious about following up and answering the questions we had, e.g., how much attention would be paid to prep, paint quality (we ended up using Benjamin Moore, which Dave felt was the best), timing, care about landscaping, etc. We were so confident in Dave that we picked the main color and asked him to choose the trim and detail--he made wonderful suggestions that we approved. "They put moldings over a closet and punctured the tracks so the doors couldn't slide.  That created an extra job for my husband who had to redo it.  One window they framed and did a good job the other had a few gaps that I can fix with caulk.  The closet they framed was uneven by about a half inch on one side.  So good job for getting a few things finished but not very detail oriented.

John advised that because of the weight of the 16 foot wood door, I needed heavy duty steel wheel rollers that he did not have on hand (rather than plastic wheel rollers) and rescheduled to install them. He came back and installed the rollers, tightened and lubricated the hinges and advised on general maintenance."
