"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Joel told us he would arrive at 830am the next day to replace our failed sewage pump. On 12/10/25, in the midst of an 8 inch snow storm, Joel arrived on time! He gladly replaced our pump and brought the plumbing unit for the pump up to code for a very fair price. We are very glad we hired him and gladly paid him! Perhaps the only bad part of this review Joel won't like, is the advertisement that he works on sewage pumps, it's a smelly job! LOL! Thank you Joel and thank you Kilburn's Plumbing! "Company showed up on time, introduced himself and described what needed to be done and how product would work. I watched television while he installed which I think took an hour and he advised it would automatically come on when attic hit 80 degrees. Fan is blades and very quiet. Only way to tell it was working was to poke my head up in  the attic and I felt a breeze immediately.
Was pleased with the service and felt got a good deal for product.
