"I am delighted to recommend Bradley Builders for any roofing needs. From start to finish, working with him was an absolute pleasure. He approached every step of the project with exceptional professionalism, clear communication, and a commitment to quality that is truly rare. Beyond the excellent workmanship, he treated my home with genuine respect, took the time to explain each step of the process, and ensured that every detail was handled with care. It is refreshing to meet someone whose character and craftsmanship shine equally bright. I wholeheartedly recommend Bradley Builders to anyone looking for a roofer who combines skill, reliability, and true personal decency."

"Having worked with multiple remodelers and contractors on two different houses, Charlie Griffey is by far the best I've ever worked with. I have high expectations, and Charlie exceeded every one. Charlie had workers at my house every day (including some weekend days) during my project and communicated with me (unsolicited) on a daily basis. This is unheard of for a contractor. Furthermore, his subs do great work. Charlie was not satisfied until we were completely pleased. He even called later after the project was completed to make sure we were happy. He had recommendations for me that I was hesitant to pursue, but he ended up being spot on. Furthermore, we encountered a delay (in shipping--not Charlie's fault), and Charlie remedied the situation himself in order to stay on track. I cannot say enough good things about Charlie's communication, professionalism, efficiency, or attention to detail."

"Found the company very unprofessional. About the time our project started to go over schedule we were told one day the lead contractor would no longer be returning as he no longer worked for the company (still don't fully understood if he quit or was fired). Then there was confusion over who was leading our project after that (we didn't meet our new lead contractor for weeks), and instead of 1 or 2 walk-thrus to close out our contract they made us do a number of weekly walk-thrus over 2 months to keep identifying what was still incomplete or unsatisfactory. During the project when they would identify a delay or issue to us, the design team and build team each complained to us about the other team being to blame. In the end we're satisfied with how much of the work turned out, but due to the way the company added to the stress of the project we will not hire again."

"I couldn’t be happier with my new bathroom! Shane did an Excellent job! I live in a mobile home doublewide and I know that it threw a few challenges to the project because of it along with a few issues we hadn’t anticipated running into, such as rotten flooring. Along with the excellent workmanship, Shane is extremely good at communication, such as how things are going, when he will be there so forth. 5 stars as far as I am concerned is not enough. I hope to be able to redo my second bath at some point and Shane will be who I contact. I would like to add the materials that Shane used are top of the line!"

"We had Dakota, and helpers Josh and Danny out to trim all the bushes, and small trees in our community. They were so conscious, and did a great job. Best that this community has ever had. Really appreciate their work."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Columbus, OH

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
