"Louis was extremely helpful and spot on with his assessment of my thermostat issue. He took the time to make recommendations and be available to make the repairs. Will use Louis on my next job and will refer to family, friends and business associates/clients."

"My dad is elderly and needed a new HVAC system. So I decided to find a person who could install a new HVAC system and we found Cody. Cody was very friendly, honest, and communicated very well. At one point he told us we could probably go another 3-5 years with the current system, but since my dad only has so many years left we told he to go ahead and install a whole new system in. He treated us like gold and even spent the time showing my Dad all the new features with the thermostat. I would highly recommend Cody for any repairs or HVAC needs you have."

"Dean completed the job professionally and at the stated price. The project required some ingenuity because the tight space. The whole house humidifier has made the rooms more comfortable for sleeping and less of a concern for our new hardwood floors."

"Kieth came out multiple times to address the issues I had. Eventually I had him replace my old Furnace, water heater and AC, in addition he cleaned several drains as well. He explained in detail how the project would be competed as well as a time line. He not only finished sooner than expected but did a phenomenal job, he left the work area cleaner than what I had it. I would highly recommend Plumbing Tree for any home services, Even with current circumstances of money being tight I did get multiple other bids and Plumbing Tree was more than fair!"

"Called Aether for a HVAC inspection prior to listing our home for sale. Nico and his team were friendly, professional and did a thorough inspection of our system. They did find a couple tune up issues, his recommended fixes (valve replacement/exhaust repair) were done well and Nico explained how it might affect a home inspection if those weren't resolved. Aether provided great service and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

"Juan did an excellent job on my home repair. He was fast and friendly. I will hire him again. ~Marvina~"

"Jared was very clear and upfront throughout the whole process. His prices are competitive. He has installed 2 swamp coolers at our rental properties, and is our go-to contractor with anything HVAC related."

"The service was great but I'm still waiting back for a invoice or any kind of documentation from the project. I've reached out to them and a lady did not pull it up for me, but hopefully they would get it resolved."

"In April, we had Tipping Hat Plumbing-Heating-Electrical replace our 20-year-old forced-air heating system and add central air conditioning. At the same time, they replaced our electrical breaker box. The HVAC is a new Amana system, for both heating and cooling. The breaker box upgrade also added a whole-house shut-off and fixed some issues. We could not be happier with the entire process, from first sales visit through after-installation follow-up. Kevin Eddingfield, our sales representative was knowledgeable and patient, and took the time to answer our questions and provide multiple options. We asked for three references, and Tipping Hat delivered. We call all of them, and they called us back. The final quote was accurate, and easy to understand. The financing terms were executed as promised. The electricians that replaced our panel, Chris and Chris Ditmore (father and son), were efficient, careful, considerate, professional, and patient. They went above-and beyond what was required to make certain that our electrical service was replaced with a minimum of disturbance. They reviewed our service, checked the entire house when they were done, and even replaced a few faulty outlets. We will ask for then by name the next time we use Tipping Hat for electrical work. The HVAC technicians the next day were paragons of professionalism and efficiency. The utility room is small land cramped, but they removed the old system and installed the new components without so much as scratching a finished wall. We choose to add a whole-house humidifier and an ultraviolet light air cleaner, and I think that both components will add value to the system. We also choose a replacement filter subscription, and now we will have filters delivered t our door. The installation came with a service plan, with multiple tune-up visits per year (important to us because we maintain our home systems diligently). They worked very quickly and carefully, tested everything, and left no mess in our house or back yard. We chose an Ecobee5 smart thermostat, and they helped me set up its initial programming. The new thermostat was wired with a minimal amount of drywall damage â and even that was repaired by Tipping Hat a few days later with no problems. The entire experience has been positive, and we look forward to having Tipping Hat help us in the future with plumbing/electrical/water heater upgrades in the future."

"The repair was made.  Sean, the service tech was courteous and professional and obviously knew what he was doing. He replaced the circuit board which took less than 1/2 hour and for that I was charged $597.00. Thinking that the circuit board was pricey (Sean, the service tech indicated so), I thought the repair bill of $597 was reasonable.  Only after calling some stores (the next day) and finding out a circuit board cost $125 did I realize I got ripped off. Controlling Systems labor charge for 1/2 hour work amounted to $472. I called the owner/guy in charge to request a refund for part of the labor charge. (I really didn't expect to receive anything) Not only did this person(whose name I wished I remembered, I would state it here) not want to hear my complaint, he hung up on me because he knew he ripped me off. He was rude and didn't want to hear my complaint. He obviously didn't want to hear anything I had to say, only stating that I agreed to the repair charge beforehand. To that he's correct, I did agree to the charge but when I asked Sean what was the cost of the circuit board, he said  $250-300. Now I know parts are marked up when purchased through a company such as CS but I still believe this company took advantage of me. ( and probably hundreds of others out there). Controlling Systems did not provide parts cost, labor costs, etc in their estimate which they used to (I had used them 3 years ago, but I won't ever use them again) Future potential customers take heed: I WOULD ALWAYS REQUEST THE ESTIMATE REPAIR BILL BE BROKEN DOWN to parts cost, labor cost, etc. And if they tell you they can't provide that, that's a good sign you're being overcharged.
Normally I am careful about negotiating and reading the fine print, etc. but this day I was distracted and the temperature was in the teens. I wanted the furnace fixed and I didn't have time to get estimates. Also if I hadn't  used Controlling Systems I would have been charged the $100 diagnostic(service) charge. Lastly, Sean intially quoted me $700. When I told him I was going to get other estimates, he lowered the estimate to $597.
