"I have had two issues since they installed the new sump pump and irrigation. Issue number one was water still getting passed the new concrete. The other issue is that the new concrete was not level at all which has caused issues with the new flooring I installed. However, their customer service is top notch and will work hard to take care of you."

"To start with, Todd returned my call in an hour, which is amazing. He gave us an estimate for raising slabs to level the sidewalk that was reasonable, and far cheaper than we paid five years ago to get new concrete sidewalk poured. When I mentioned that we had also been told to remove stretches of moss on the sidewalk, he offered to power wash it for less than it would cost to have guys come and scrape it off. After the power wash, we needed a re-inspection before he could get the permit, and he kept in touch to follow up with us on that. As soon as that was settled, he got the permit and finished the work in one day. It looked perfect. Another amazing thing -- I don't pay for the job until after we pass the final inspection. Todd is exactly what you wish every contractor was like (but they aren't)."

"The entire project was handled with exceptional professionalism. the team was punctual, hard working, and pleasant to work with. Each facet of the job was explained and suggestions appreciated. The patio is higher than ground level; the end result exceeded my expectations. I have a beautiful stamp concrete patio with the perfect color shading and 2 steps that follow the flow of the patio shape. I was fortunate to have some extra pre-work done at a reasonable charge. I would highly recommend SPM to anyone needing any concrete work done."

"Jay is excellent.  It took him approximately 5 minutes to diagnose the source cause for cracking in our basement wall.  It took me less than that to realize that he is a very intelligent person and extremely qualified in his line of work.  Jay easily laid out a variety of courses of action for our foundation cracking, including ballpark estimates on the costs associated with each.  He also pointed out how the previous owner had attempted to remediate the cracking and why it was not the correct approach given the nature of these particular cracks (specifically, the previous owner had treated for water damages when the source problem was tree roots that were growing into the basement wall).  Jay also walked the rest of the house and pointed out other structural issues without me prompting him to do so. He didn't do this in a condescending or discouraging way; rather, he stated the facts and was able to articulate simple and cost-effective strategies to remediate the issues.  In one case, he actually pulled out graph paper and drew exactly how to fix a beam that had been cut and where to go for the most cost-effective and reliable materials.  He probably saved me $500-600 in doing so. A few days after the inspection, he called me to tell me about a free seminar that was being held in Portland that was relevant to something I was dealing with in my business ventures; he didn't have to do that, but I was very appreciative of his thoughtfulness in doing so.  I would highly recommend Jay to anyone with structural issues in their home; he is a true professional and goes above and beyond the call of duty.  Thanks, Jay! <br />"

"There are a lot of options when it comes to treating a concrete floor, and it was confusing to us about which way to go.  Jake explained the pros and cons of all our options in a way that made clear what would best suit our needs - we went with polishing and staining.  My husband and I  were having trouble choosing an exact color for the floor, so Jake ended up mixing a couple of colors, creating a new color that we are super happy with.   We were in a serious time crunch - the floor had to be finished before the carpenter, who was leaving on a 2 week vacation, could rebuild the stairs that had been taken out.  Jake and his crew bent over backwards to finish our floor in time for the stairs to get built, even though it meant putting in some very long days.  The floor is beautiful, and we love it!  Jake was reliable and very responsive to our needs.  My husband and I highly recommend him."

"Ed and his grandson Ryan transformed our deck from old and dilapidated to new and beautiful. I'm certain that our deck currently looks better than when it was originally built. Ed also poured a concrete slab next to the deck where a future hot tub will go. We're very happy with the finished product and have even talked with Ed about replacing an upper deck on our home. His price was great and we feel like we got a good deal considering the beautiful work. The installed steps are built so debris doesn't constantly gather underneath like the previous deck. We will definitely hire Ed again."

"Jason arrived right on time and went straight to work understanding the nature of what I wanted. He obviously knows his stuff, technically, as he asked all the right detailed questions about the materials, measurements, etc. <br /> He also clearly has an eye for design as he sprinkled questions throughout the meeting about the larger goals for the work, commenting on the style/theme we were going for. <br /> His bid came within 24 hours and, unlike many others I've looked at, was clearly broken down and easily understandable. <br /> Not sure if we'll move forward with him for repairs but off all the contractors we've talked with (at least 4) Jason was our clear favorite. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Corbett, OR

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
