"I have used this company before, for a patio at our old house, so when I moved and so I would need a new sidewalk I knew who to call. Derek, the sales person and estimator,arrived right on time and was very professional in suggesting a design for the new sidewalk. He also suggested that we could use some of the existing flagstone to build a pad for our trash cans around the side of the house. they told me they estimated the work would be done at the end of August, but they actually came out two weeks early to do the work. on a hot day, the team worked hard and was very efficient and precise. Mr. Morgado the supervisor was there at the beginning and we discussed and confirmed the work to be done...then he gave clear instructions to the crew. They did a super job, and it looks terrific...attractive and professional. Santos the crew leader confirmed things with me before doing them, like how to handle a tricky step up from the driveway. We are very pleased with the sidewalk and have gotten several compliments on it."

"Ballard Enterprises did an amazing job! Prior to the work beginning, the landscape architect came to our house and spent time talking with us about what we wanted and offered ideas and suggestions of his own. He spent time outside in our backyard--in pouring rain--getting a feel for the space, understanding our vision, and taking measurements. The resulting quote and landscape diagram were detail-oriented, which we love. The half-circle end of the patio was our idea, and when we suggested it, he saw the vision for it immediately and incorporated it enthusiastically (i.e., there were zero issues with "your ideas" vs "our ideas"). I cannot say enough about how hard-working, incredibly skilled, and friendly the landscapers/stonemasons who did our work were. The stone wall in particular is a work of art. They were an incredible team. They started early in the mornings and they worked late into the evenings; all in one of the hottest stretches we had that summer. The landscape architect and owner stopped by periodically to perform quality checks. Our backyard--which was formerly a drab, empty space--is now simply beautiful. The work Ballard performed for us included: - installing a large paver patio; - installing a fire pit; - building a brand-new, stone retaining wall; - installing completely new flower beds (outlining, tilling, composting, planting, mulching); - installing underground drainage with three new pop-up drains; - installing a rain barrel; - propping up existing heat/AC units that were tipping over due to soil erosion, and redirecting water flow away from them; - tearing out the old concrete patio. We love our new backyard. It is gorgeous! We continue to use Ballard Enterprises to weed and lay mulch each spring. And we buy all of our annual potted flowers at their nursery."

"He came out at the mutually agreed time.  His workers were very professional.  They removed a lot of grout, removed a lot of the patio, and re-cemented it.  When they were finished, they did an excellent job of cleaning up.
I had a few estimates.  Mark was the low bidder (but not by much).  I hired him because of him being on Angies list.  Very pleased.
