"Gave Scott a call to schedule an appointment; came out the same day. Gave me some options on the leaky faucet, one of which...it needs to be replaced. Jim and Steve were courteous and quickly completed the jobs. Jim came back in from talking to Scott and told me $0 for today. Very unexpected, and hesitate to put this piece out there at the risk that Scott will no charge everyone. Of course, when I get the new faucets, I will definitely use them to install. An overall great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend."

"Uncle Rob was GREAT! I called for 2 plumbing problems; a leaking faucet, and a clogged bathroom sink. I called Uncle Rob, he came in, told me what the problem is and fixed it. This put a smile on my face, and made me and my Family happy! If there is a 100 stars I would have clicked 100 instead of 5. Uncle Rob is very knowledgeable, persistent, and caring! Most importantly, he gets the job done at a good price, and his work is Guaranteed. He's funny, and efficient. I'll call him again if I ever have any plumbing issues. Thank you Uncle ROB."

"Dan is extremely courteous and conscientious. I called him in the evening for a clogged sewer line. He came out the next day. I then hired him to replace a water heater, 2 toilets and 2 sinks and faucets. He is polite, professional and I trust his skills and his integrity."

"Excellent plumber. Quoted fixed price over phone to replace a kitchen faucet. Came on time the next day, replaced the faucet, cleaned up, tested and did not try to up-sell or change the quoted price. Very professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you!"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Crystal Lake, IL

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
