Our first project with them was 5 1/2 years ago and we experienced the same professionalism the second time around as we did the first time we used System Pavers. "First I want to say that my patio is a DREAM COME TRUE! Daniel and his crew really outdid themselves!My interactions with Daniel were excellent from the beginning. He was very easy to get a hold of, and extremely responsive every time I emailed him or called him. His wife responds to much of the correspondence as well, and she is like talking to an old friend. The ease of communication was extremely important to us because, especially in the busy season, most other landscapers never get back to us. When Daniel came to our home, we had already put down a refundable deposit with another landscaper. I was simply doing my due diligence by getting another quote. Daniel had great ideas and provided a lot of input. He brought up the idea of flagstone patio instead of pavers. By the end of the quote, we were so impressed with Daniel that we requested our money back from the other company. Before the job began, Daniel sent me pictures and spent time helping me pick out the right color. I LOVED that he gave me his opinion. So many other landscapers so-and quot;its whatever you likeand quot;...but I don't see this stuff everyday, so I didn't know what I liked. Daniel was not pushy with his opinion, just honest. Though he did spend adequate time with us, there were still a few details that I was uneasy about because I was looking at things in pictures and not in person. It required trust on my part, but it was completed exactly as expected.Daniel's time frame to begin the project and also to finish was better than everyone else's. Our entire patio was completed in one week. Though we did not see Daniel much in the throughout the week, his foreman, Juan, was amazing! He was very professional, patient and paid attention to detail. I was nervous to bring up a small change that I wanted, but he was very nice about it and agreed with me. Daniel came over when the project was done to make sure I was happy and also helped me figure out how to seal it within my budget. He also gave me ideas about other things to do with my landscaping-some that were diy and some that he could help with in the future. Daniel's price was fair and he respected our budget. He was slightly better priced than the big landscape companies, and slightly more than the smaller companies. He was very accommodating regarding the lighting. When we couldn't afford the package, we ended up buying our lighting ourselves and his crew laid it for us in the concrete under the pavers. Daniel added some nice extra touches by building in beautiful granite boulders in the flagstone. I am guilty of being a fairly critical person, and that was magnified by the fact that I've had such bad luck in the past with other people. Daniel exceeded my expectations and is the first contractor I've had to home that I would be excited to use again. The patio is truly a professional job and is everything I asked for. When the job was completed, Juan spent a half a day cleaning up and putting my yard back the way he found it."

"We originally met JD Ward and his crew in 2010 when we contracted with him to install a new gas fireplace in our cabin in Pagosa Springs.  He and Matt were very responsive, prompt and thorough in their bidding and responsive to our requests regarding the fireplace design.  Their work was outstanding and the fireplace is beautiful, the source of heat for the room and is a source of compliments from any guest to our cabin.  JD has continued to be available for technical support as we've learned how to maximize heat and lower our propane gas bills.  JD and Matt were so responsive, resourceful and did such great work, that we subsequently contracted with them to tear off and rebuild the porch to the cabin.  This involved redesigning the roof line and porch supports, and adding river rock and wood columns to support the porch structure.  They designed river rock and flagstone steps.  The work was done timely, within the bid amount, with the finished product absolutely beautiful.    In both cases they sent pictures of the work in progress, kept us appraised of their work, were careful about not tracking in dirt/mud/snow, and cleaned up their work areas. <br /> We highly recommend Pagosa Peaks Fireplace and JD (and Matt) as honest, hardworking, reliable, resourceful and trustworthy, who completed both of our jobs on time while we were out of town at our home and away from the cabin.  Without hesitation we will use them again for future projects (such as an outdoor firepit)."
