"<p>The service that Dave and his crew provided were amazing.  This was not the first company I called, but it was the first company that came and quoted me in a reasonable time.  Their quote was competitive to a few other companies, but still a significant amount less than competitor's models at the same level which was all an added bonus!  His crew were prompt, friendly, and did a great job installing the new furnace.  I would highly recommend this company...service was one of the best we've had!</p> <br />"

"Amazing. I contacted Lee because I had a number of projects. I called & left a message & he responded within a couple of hours. He was already booked for the next 6 weeks. I said the only pressing task was replacing my garbage disposal. He said he would try to slip me in. Sure enough a day or two days later he called & said he was on his way. He was professional and quick and courteous. I intend to use Lee for all my handyman needs."

"They were great. I had two other companies come over. Both said I needed a new furnace to the tune of $9000. Neither looked at the attic, the crawlspace, on told me I had mold and wouldn't give me a written estimate. M and M (Doug) came over, went all over the house, under the house, in the attic, tested the furnace and said it needed a new motor. He recommended insulation in the attic, close off unnecessary ceiling vents, run a new line to the gas fireplace as it had copper which can develop leaks, and clean everything. They saved me $7000! They were professional, courteous, on time, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done properly. I have been recommending them to any and everyone I know. Everything was written out, easy to understand, and done on time as promised."

"Always on time. Courteous, knowledgeable, friendly. His crew was also very courteous. Cleaned up before they left. <br /> We did not feel he was trying to take advantage of us. We are talking to Walter about another job. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Delphi, IN

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
