"Ford from Brewster Appliance showed up on the day and time agreed upon. I bought a stove that needed to be converted from LP gas to Natural gas. Ford changed out the orifices checked the stove, fine tuned the flames and even helped me order a part for a broken ice maker on my fridge. Ford was a nice guy, very efficient , knew what exactly had to be done and took care of the problem. Well worth the two hundred and I will use him again if the need arises. Thanks Ford for a very nice job.

"Update as of 4/3/12 - RCA's mechanical seems to be out of business. I was owed a $500 credit towards future work but have been unable to get in touch with them. Rich and his team were conscientious and meticulous in their work. While the project was quite expensive, I feel I got good value for my money. The equipment installed was good quality. I didn't feel pressed to buy more than was needed for my project. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure that everything was working correctly before leaving. I will likely be using RCAs Mechanical Systems for future projects, and would recommend them to anyone looking for an HVAC installation"

When they came out they told me the compressor needed replacing in the refrigerator and it would cost $800.00

plus labor. They also told me I needed 4 new igniters for my gas stove burners. I was quoted a price of $20.00 - $30.00

per igniter plus labor. It cost me $89.00 for the estimate on 8-31-2015. I was told they would contact me when the parts

came in .They came back on 9-16-2015 to repair the burners. I had been expecting a quicker return date. I don't see why it took over two weeks to get 4 igniters. The igniters were replaced quickly and I was charged $181.25 for parts and labor. It seemed to me to be a little on the high side but I didn't question it at the time. When I looked at the receipt later to figure out how much I was charged  for parts vs. labor the receipt was not itemized so I could not tell. My main complaint is that less than two weeks later on

9-27-2015 one of the burners failed to lite again. I would not expect that to happen. I will

have to contact them and hope I don't get charged again to come back out and look at it again. If I do get charged for another house call I will not be using them again.

"I have to say I rang the Appliance guy as the local company in Provincetown refused to come out as I did not buy my machine from them. I spoke to both Paulo and Denise initially and found their service to be responsive, friendly and very professional. The Appliance Guy responded to my call immediately, set up service at a convenient time for me and were very reasonable in price. Paulo (the technician) was very friendly and very professional too. I even lost the invoice and they were prompt and responsive in getting a duplicated emailed to me for my records. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who asks.
