"This company is absolutely the best! Michael and Tyler have been servicing my 20 year old AC unit and heat pump for the last 5 years. They have kept it up and running for me until this spring when it finally needed to be replaced. I have had to call them several times in an emergency and they have always gotten back to me promptly and made repairs often the same day! They are professional and extremely knowledgeable and have often gone above and beyond. They gave me several price points/options depending on my budget and I was extremely pleased to have these choices. They reviewed all my options with me so I could make an informed decision. I converted to natural gas and am really happy with my new system. On installation they found some duct work that was installed incorrectly and pointed the issues out to me. They will be repairing it as much as possible in the next month or so. This will provide better air/heat circulation in my home. <br /> I highly recommend Anderson Mechanical. They are so personable and really easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about this company. <br />"

"My husband found Mark to be so accommodating with us in every way.  We were concerned about the cost and he allayed our fears as best he could, however stating that until the situation was assessed underground, it was impossible to truly know the extent of the problem.  Randy came out with a contractor, and they began to dig up the area, trying their best to keep as much landscaping as possible intact.  They found multiple problems with the original construction of the house.  There was a piece of tubing that connected the whole line to the house, and it was never glued together, but rather pushed together, dating the problem back to 2001.  The sewage had been seeping underground into our front yard for a long time.  Randy replaced this piece appropriately as well as the piping that had buckled that led out of the home.  This occurred because no one properly supported the pipes with materials so that this problem wouldn't happen.  They made sure that they put the necessary gravel where it was needed under the new pipes before placing the dirt back.  Once I knew it was a huge job but not sure of how much financially it would cost, I asked Randy if we could make a second payment the following week if it was over $1300.  He called Mark and Mark agreed.  I found this to be immensely accommodating and remarkable for a company.  In the end, we were fortunate that the damage was not as extensive as it appeared it would be.  I cannot say enough positive things about this company and Mark and Randy.  They waived the diagnostic fee and tried to keep things as cheap as possible.  I know because I watched every step.  In addition, the contractor they used cut off an hour of his work fee.  We had used another plumber in the past, and their estimated fee for the service was way over what we were told by Mark.  And Mark and Randy worked very hard to keep the estimate even lower than what they initially guessed.  My husband and I consider ourselves very blessed to have chosen the right company to help us with our home crisis.  I had read the reviews on Angie's List and felt that we should call them.  I am so happy we did. <br />"

"Very well. Todd and his associate quickly figured out what the problem was, which was that during the winter water had frozen and split the pipe. They replaced the spigot and pipe, and everything is working fine again. I have always found Benjamin Franklin's service to be excellent."

"My fiance and I just bought our house and we had a number of small repairs to be made, and a hot water flow issue which was a bigger deal since we had a lot of family coming over the second weekend we owned the home. Dave came out and looked over out winter/summer system and thought it was best to direct our water pipes directly to our hot water heater - bypassing the oil boiler to reduce the oil bill. He looked around the house at a few other things I wouldn't have thought of and sent me quotes a few hours later for everything we talked about. We decided what we wanted to have done and he said someone else would be in touch for scheduling. <br /> Come Tuesday of the next week - the week just before our family was coming - we still hadn't been called about scheduling. I called and explained that I needed the hot water issue to be fixed as soon as possible and that the other things could wait. They were very apologetic about the lack of communication and were able to fit us in that Friday. The guy who came over was very nice and professional and was able to do all of the repairs we had requested within a few hours for the exact price we had been quoted. <br /> Despite the scheduling issue, I would absolutely recommend them and use them again in the future! <br />"

"Luckily I was able to get bumped up to an earlier time for my plumbing issue the technician arrived three hours early which was great because I could still get to work. Jeff was very professional and courteous as well as knowledgeable. He fixed my leaking issue in an hour and the cost was very reasonable. I will hire them again."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Denver, PA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
