"I would HIGHLY recommend Amado for upholstery work.  I went to his store based on his reviews on Angie's List.  I had an old dining room set and needed the seats to be cushioned and reupholstered.  He was very helpful in choosing an appropriate fabric.  The fabric was ordered and the seats were completed in two weeks.  He also gave me helpful suggestions about how to polish the chairs to remove scratches on them.  It was a pleasure to work with him, and the chair seats are perfect."

"Everything about my experience with Furniture and Repairs was positive. They clearly explained their assessment process and reasonable charge to come out to personally inspect my furniture. They explained that once an estimate was provided, upon accepting the estimate they would deduct that charge from my total cost. The gentleman they sent out to assess my furniture was professional and patiently answered my questions. The cost of repairing my 6 pieces of mid-century furniture was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work that they did. I couldn't be happier with the repairs. I inherited the furniture, and I was so nervous about substandard repairs, and these folks did an exceptional job. Some of the pieces were seriously damaged - wooden legs broken right off - and you can't tell where the damage was. They came to pick up my furniture and returned it in 2 weeks. "Their work was great. They stripped the chair and ottoman down to the frames and completely rebuilt the springs and padding, as well as recovering both. Elaine was great at recommending fabrics (and they have tons of different ones) and guided us to one we love. High quality, practical, made in America and beautiful. The chair is a family heirloom of 60-70 years. Now it is better than ever. And better than anything we saw in furniture stores. It looks and feels great! This was not cheap in any sense. We paid a reasonable price for truly outstanding work. We will have Howard's do our next upholstery job."

"We contacted this company through their on-line request for information page of their website. Very quick and easy to do. They were very prompt in getting back with me to set up time to come to the house to meet with us to provide a free design and estimate. Rosalinda came very well prepared. She measured the space and got out her computer and began to put together a design. She had many pictures of other work the company has done so we were able to point out what we did and did not like. We showed her all the components we wanted to include in the center - to include our record player and stereo equipment - (ready-made furniture doesn't have a place for record players anymore!) She had all the sample wood stains and helped us choose the right color for the room. She took into account where the electrical outlets were so they weren't lost when the center was installed. The price of the unit was based on square footage, any extras did not change the price, e.g. lights, glass doors, slide out shelves, speaker screen, doors, shelves... none of it changed the price. She was able to give us an estimate on the spot and we said Yes! Within two weeks the company called us to schedule the installation date. It was about 4 weeks from start to finish. The installers came in and laid furniture pads down to protect the floors. They were all very courteous and professional. They worked very clean, sweeping as they went along. They made cuts to go around the electric outlets as they installed to insure a perfect fit. They cut holes for wiring as they installed to ensure a perfect match and then all component wires could easily feed through the holes and were all hidden from sight. There is beautiful crown molding and there is molding covering any seams. The cabinet is secured to the wall. The cabinet itself is beautiful. Everything was done as promised and within the times promised. I would happily recommend Woodwork Creations. <br />"
