Let me previous by saying we had been 14 years trying to get the large dorm window in the center of the house trimmed and dry walled. We have had many carpenters look at the project. They eventually left saying, "They would send us an estimate,"  and were never heard from again.  Secondly, my husband, love him dearly, but he is a hard nosed perfectionist!!!! Having said that, John and his crew tackled a very difficult and challenging project with gusto. The end project is beautiful and my husband was dully  impressed.

John noticed that the garage doors had never been properly sealed by the original builder. Since we were replacing door casings with PVC anyways, John recommended doing the garage doors (two- two car doors, the side entrance door, and a third garage door on the second floor of the garage. 4 doors total.) We very much appreciate his professional observations and recommendations.

The employees of John's, ( it was the first day with the company for one of them) were hard working, dedicated, and extremely talented and knowledgeable.

John was honest it telling us that because of all the little projects we hired him for, the cost would run higher. The quality and peace of mind that after 14 years these projects were finally getting completed was worth it.

In summary, we were very please with John's honesty and professionalism. The office called us and kept us informed if they were going to be late or when coming. ( on one occasion, due to an emergency that prevented them from arriving on time one day, the staff called and apologized profusely.) John's employees demonstrated commitment, professionalism, and competency. We, especially my husband, were extremely please and impressed.

"After a break-in, I needed to get my doors replaced. The reviews on Angie's List helped me select Supreme Window and Door with added confidence. From start to finish, the process was easy and the pricing fair. All the staff were professional and courteous.
The sale representative (Albert) was knowledgeable about the product line. He answered my questions and worked with me to find a product right for me and within my budget. He explained the different features and options - but i never felt pressured. Eric and the rest of the installation team did a beautiful job installing the doors: they were professional, neat and kept me informed throughout the job.
Besides just "selling and installing" my doors, Albert and Eric went above and beyond the written contract and were gracious in volunteering to help me with a few handyman-type small jobs I needed after the break-in: helping to install a new motion-detector light and fixing a broken wooden gate. These were small "chores", but the extra effort they took to quickly install a new backyard security light and to fix the broken gate helped me feel more secure after the break-in incident. "My wife and I purchased our house about 18 months ago. Back in March of this past year, we discovered that the previous owner had concealed some rot in the exterior walls of the house that had come from a leak somewhere along the roof line. We were initially referred to Ben and his company by a friend of ours who he had done some previous work for. Ben came out, inspected the roof and determined told us he believed that the leak had been coming in around the chimney, but had been corrected by the previous owner.  We asked him at the time if he could handle repairing the wall, and he said that while they might be able to find a way to fix it, they were not comfortable taking the job because, not being framers, they did not want to take on the job and have to tell us later they could not complete it.  This actually very much impressed my wife and I, since most people we found to look at that project were more than happy to take the money even if they were not really qualified for the work.
Several months later, we started having water leaking into our house again, this time on the other side of the home. Given that we very much appreciated their honesty the first time, we called Ben and his company.  They came right out, rearranging their schedule to help us with the pool that was slowly forming in our bathroom. With the weather being extremely rainy, as well as other factors, Ben made several trips out to our home to ensure that they could accurately diagnose the problem. They discovered that while the primary problem was coming from a window we had recently had replaced, the company that had replaced the roof for the previous owner had cut some corners which was leading to all of the edges of the roof starting to rot. He took the time to actually take me and show me the problem and explain what caused it.  He gave us a few options, and in the end we decided to replace the roof to ensure we could fix the rot. Ben and his team came out on 17 July and were able to do all of the work needed in a day, including the pitched roof replacement, replacement of some of the gutters, repairs to a flat roof we have over an addition, and the installation of gutter toppers.  Additionally, our window company was supposed to come out on the same day to fix the window. When they did not show on time, Ben offered to fix the windows for us free of charge, if they didn't come by the end of the day just to make sure it was done right.
When the crew left, the property was spotless! And throughout the whole process, we had nothing but amazing service from Ben and the team. They go out of their way to explain everything to you and show you how and why they are doing what they are doing. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

Additionally, we liked Darren's professionalism and expertise. The crew was great, the work was completed quickly, and Darren and his office staff were responsive and communicative.
