"We hired Young Remodeling to install a complex and custom pantry near the back door alcove of our kitchen.  We own an old home, so our kitchen is small.  The new pantry was/is designed to help add counter space to the main kitchen area by providing cabinet storage for a microwave oven, as well our toaster oven and coffee maker via a quartz counter top.  We also wanted to add additional storage via 4 custom cabinets.  Special pullouts were designed for storage containers in a lower cabinet, as well as a pullout bar beneath the microwave.  Young Remodeling did fantastic work on all facets of the job.  From recommending vendors, to providing design options, to ensuring quality in the cabinets, counter top, and tile, and of course the install - it was all top notch.  The end result is absolutely stunning. Of note, we would have given Young Remodeling high marks for the work in general, but they get exceptional points for problem solving. We had a severe challenge with one of our door options.  Working with my wife and I they were able to create a unique sliding door solution that actually performed better than the original design.  It looked amazing and didn't add any costs.  All in all, they are just fabulous to work with and their work product is of the highest standards.  We plan to continue to work with Young as we continue to remodel our plaza area home.

"When I first looked at them and signed the contract all was fairly good on Angies List, then they got de-listed for past business practices.
The project:
Extremely poor communications, I had to initiate all followup. Lots of excuses from them, some of them a bit off the wall. I took a week off of my business travel to be here for the project and they never showed up. Had to take a second week. Also, they are evidently not listed as an authorized Hardie installer on Hardie's site. That does not seem to affect warranty thankfully.
It is also apparent that the owners can not fund their projects or payroll and we had to pay for all materials and then they ask for immediate progress payments to pay the crew.  Then with the material leftovers they "get" you and the returned product refunds go to them via the distributor after pick up. Vantage Point did not offer any refund option for materials returned yet we paid for them. We also got no break in markup for product since we paid and more or less funded (we were the bank)  this project.
The actual crew for the Hardie siding was great and per the distributor they are the best crew in town for Hardie. They subcontract to the owners so you may get other crews on your project. Workmanship seems to be spot on but again, this is the crew. Painters were good too but again, had to call in my credit card number when they went to get the paint. 
You will have to project manage them if you decide to use them but I would wait until there is a clearer picture of just who they are, what their past business practices have actually been and that they are financially strong enough to fund the projects. Per other postings on other sites they have had other businesses in the past where there is controversy.
This is the first time Angie's list has let me down due to slow action to de-list the company and also take action to have them remove their Angie's list service awards from their advertising. Thankfully the crew that did the work was top notch. Oh, and there will probably be a response from Vantage Point, there is a pattern to their responses....read carefully.

"John and Roy were punctual and professional, worked very hard for several days including some of the coldest days of the year. They went over and beyond to satisfy, and even removed old carpet from an upstairs room for free. They have state of the art equipment, and are equipped to handle small and large jobs if needed, including several trucks and dumpsters for hauling. They also provide handyman services should you need them... Had them replace a lock on a barn door while they were on site, and was quite pleased with their work. They worked independently on my property for days, and I would highly recommend them if you need trustworthy, reliable and industrious folks who will not gouge you!"

"Roman and his wife did SUCH an amazing job on my staircase! I had a tight timeline preparing my home for a graduation party. He did not shy away from that at all and was there every day until the project was complete. I lucked into finding him on NextDoor. Trustworthy, kind, very detail oriented, and showed a lot of patience with me when I couldn’t finalize the stain color until the last minute. Given that the stairs are a main focal point in my house, the project really updated my home. I have received a lot of compliments. He did an amazing transformation. "Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.
