"I have previously used East Coast Comfort for minor repairs to my aging Central Air system and have been impressed with their customer service and responsiveness. Unfortunately, this year, my system was beyond basic repair. When faced with replacing some pricey parts (evaporator coil) on an aging system or installing a new system, both Lisa and Tony were extremely helpful in designing a system that fit our budget and requirements. We ultimately decided to replace the gas furnace, A/C condenser and coil as the new system would have a ten year warranty and be much more energy efficient. During his site visit, Tony also recommended some cost-effective ducting modifications to ensure air was supplied to the upper floor of our rowhome properly. The full replacement was performed in a single day and was scheduled quickly even though it was the middle of June (peak season). Lisa remained communicative throughout the process and Tony and his crew were awesome. They took extra care as they removed the old system and carefully brought in the new parts and cleaned up very well after themselves. We are extremely satisfied and I highly recommend East Coast Comfort for simple repairs or a full system installation. My family is now enjoying cool air and energy savings."

But the service contract don't cover anything so I canceled that the next day shop around I found a service contract w the gas company is better and they cover parts and labor , their contract only covers a yearly inspection that's it. Overall besides cost for a gas furnace and 30 minutes of work was Very Expensive. Once I've compared the prices I was over charged $400. Dollars for 30 minutes of labor part cost $ 211.00 dollars took him less than 30 minutes to install I've used them twice first time over $1100. Dollars on a part that wasn't over $300. And was charged. They are tooooo over priced . For the time it takes them both jobs less than hour. The guys who perform the work very nice and professional"

"Our central A/C broke and a repairman from the company we purchased it from 15 years prior told us we needed a new compressor. I put the project on Anji to get a few quotes for replacement, and rec'd a call minutes later. We set up an appointment set up for the next morning. Frank came and looked at our system, we told him what the other repair person had said, Frank (the owner of Old Skool ) did a more thorough look at the entire system, and within 45 minutes realized the problem was with one wire on the outside of the unit in our attic and not the compressor outside. He replaced the wire, and instead of a two to four thousand dollar replacement, it cost us a couple of hundred bucks. (The quote visit turned into the repair visit.) It's really easy to see that Frank is an expert and knows his stuff inside and out. He made a recommendation for a fix to prevent the issue from happening again. We're definitely going to use old skool going forward for all of our HVAC maintenance and repair. Frank was friendly, covid-19 safe, and he had the ability to break down the problems in laymen's terms."
