"Of course the A/C quits on the afternoon of the 90+ degree day! Fan and compressor were not working, but indoor fan was, meaning either a capacitor or contractor issue in the outdoor unit. Called office 10 minutes before they were done for the day, but was able to confirm a repair appointment for first thing the next morning. Technician (Sean) was here at 8 am, and after a 2 minute discussion and check, confirmed that capacitor was the issue. Still under warranty from Bryant, so that was a plus, but I was surprised that there was a failure after only 3 years since last unit ( also a Bryant, nd installed by AC Engineers after house was built in 1997) never had a problem for the 17 years we had it until replaced with the higher efficiency unit. The interesting comment from the technician was that he would likely replace 5-6 more capacitors that day (!!!!!), not tied to any particular brand of unit, but more because all the manufacturers use the same capacitor from the same source, and "they literally don't build them like the used too". Rather illuminating - In addition to the capacitor fix, he did a full service check of the system. Excellent job, responsive and knowledgeable."

"I pulled up Angie's List and selected CSR (Complete Service Restoration). Within 30 minutes after contacting CSR, Ron Minando was at our door. Within another 45 minutes Ron's crew arrived. As Julius Caesar said upon landing in Britain, They came, They saw. They conquered. With CSR, They came. They saw. They conquered a smelly, moldy, and disgustingly wet basement. To ensure that water, dirt, and contaminants, were not tracked into our house, they put down a waterproof cloth matting on the main floor, the laundry room and the garage. Working in a quiet professional manner, the crew drained the basement, extracted water from the carpeting and padding, zipped it into watertight plastic bags and disposed of it in a dumpster. They did the same with the wet drywall and some water damaged contents. They moved so quietly and quickly that my wife and I were unaware they brought in very large air scrubbers and dehumidifiers. After removing all the contaminated debris, they sprayed the floor and walls with a plant-based (no toxic chemicals) anti-bacterial agent. By acting quickly, CSR was able to save my wife's hat room and its 300 plus hats Hooray! It took several days to remove mold and dry the basement, but when they finished we had a clean odor-free basement. The men were prompt, very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the dangers of a water/mold damaged basement. If needed, I would definitely hire CSR again."

"Installers were prompt, professional. They took care, using drop cloths inside to avoid tracking dirt.
The system did not work properly when initially installed, so the following Monday, a repair technician came and performed diagnosis and trouble shooting, in contact with manufacturer's rep. He was able to correct the problem and got the system operating.
In addition, to address my concerns that the condenser unit might have been damaged, they subsequently replaced that part of the system to ensure reliability.
I was very happy with their responsiveness to my concerns.

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"The inspection went well, and the inspector was very thorough and professional in both the inspection and walk through of the findings.  I was definitely impressed with the results and findings, and was looking forward to receiving the report and proposal but was informed that those needed to be provided via another appointment.  That is where things did go a little downhill as the inspector no called/no showed for the appointment they scheduled while onsite for the first appointment.  I attempted to contact both the company and inspector the day of the appointment to see what happened but no one was available or returned my call.  A few days later I followed up with the company and did receive a voicemail from the inspector with an apology for the no show; however, I had already spoke to someone at the company and explained my preferred solution (mail me the report).  I was not interested (still not) in scheduling another appointment to receive the report, and that appears to be the only way to receive it as it has not been mailed or emailed as previously requested from them.  They have attempted to remedied the situation on a few different occasions which is why I elected to not slam them in the ratings.  Also, the inspection appointment was very thorough and professional, and the missed appointment may have been on the inspector and not the company.  I just have no time or patience for missed appointments without any notification, as it is a bit unprofessional and obviously a waste of my time.

"Extremely well! We now have an efficiently working A/C system instead of the old one that, evidently, was only pumping the slightly cooler air from the basement up into the rest of the house. All is working very well after a week or more of use. I can't say enough in praise of Travis, who proved, again, to be a knowledgeable, conscientious, friendly, clever, and efficient worker.I am able to use all of the above adjectives confidently because, as an interested 80+ year-old retiree i had the time to enjoy watching and conversing with Travis throughout almost the entire installation process! Additional information: NH&C also does business under the names South Lyon and McGraw Mechanical Heating & Cooling."

"In mid January, we went to their showroom and picked out the faucets, mirrors, toilet and grab bar we wanted installed.  One of the mirrors was on back order.  We wanted to continue our part of the remodeling, so we decided to have the other items installed in late February.  It turned out that the wrong tank for the toilet was delivered to Brinkers and had to be reordered, so the toilet could not be installed on that date.  In mid March, the toilet and mirrors were finally installed.  Also, the grab bar was not installed properly and that was corrected at that time.
