"I hired Phil at PTO Home Service and Repair to look into an interesting problem I was having with my basement plumbing. We had our kitchen sink, washer, and two basement sinks draining into a 1 1/2" PVC pie that was going into a cast iron pipe into the ground and when the washer would drain it overflowed the sink. Phil was very responsive, he called me back and was able to come on a Saturday and look at the issue. I knew for this specific problem I was going to need some custom type of work done and Phil was the right person for the job. After the assessment, Phil recommended a fix and scheduled time to come and implement it. He arrived on time and was very professional. After the fix was installed and we tested the washer, unfortunately the problem still existed. I was very impressed at Phil's ability to troubleshoot the issue after the initial work and provide a further suggestion to get the problem fixed "permanently". I could tell that Phil really cared about solving the problem so that I wouldn't have to worry about it in the future. He scheduled a new time to come and implement the fix and on that date also showed up on time, sent me a text to let me know he was on his way and worked all day to get it done. The "permanent" fix that Phil came up with was very creative and I was impressed with the work that was done. The only thing I have to do now is replace the sheetrock in my basement, which shouldn't be too bad. See the attached pictures. "Joe Vitale, owner of Excellent Exterior & Deck Co. and his crew did an amazing job, on what I thought was to be a very difficult project, but what turned out to be 'just another day at the rodeo' for them. Upon his first visit to our home, he was able to immediately evaluate the situation and recommend to us the type of deck, 18'x30' Trex, and the drainage system beneath it, that we would need to alleviate a major water problem throughout the backyard, which would also assure that the house foundation would be secure forever. When I explained to Joe that the Town had denied a previous contractor the type of detached floating deck that he recommended, he assured us that he would get approval . His professional engineer drew the plans, and when Joe presented them to the Town, the plan was accepted on the spot, and a building permit was granted. Before starting the work, Joe was able to provide more than the proper insurance required by our homeowners association, including certificates of Liabilty, Workers' Compensation, and Disability Insurance coverage. It was comforting that Joe was involved from beginning to end, to answer questions, to provide a Trex brochure and to guide us in choosing the type and color of Trex that we wanted. Joe managed the project himself, and even ran his own machinery, including dozers and a variety of trucks. which he operated with extreme expertise. Except for materials delivery, there was no 'contracting out' of any work., so Joe Vitale, the owner, took full responsibility for the entire job. As part of this project, Joe built a 20" deep foundation using gravel and stone upon which the deck sits. Drainage pipes were strategically placed to move rainwater away from the deck and house. The Trex deck is built on a floating bed design with 12" OC floor joists. It is installed with the Trex Hidden fastener system and there is a division board and picture frame. All fasteners are Hot Dipped Galvanized or better. All materials and labor were included in the contract and Joe lived up to that agreement 100%. The deck is solid as a rock and amazingly level in all directions. After the deck was completed, Joe regraded our entire backyard, which it needed. The whole project took less than a week. The Trex company has designated Excellent Exterior and Deck Company, Inc. as one of their distinguished experts, and I agree with that. So, if you happen to see a truck or sign with the slogan "You need a big deck" that is Joe Vitale's Excellent Exterior and Deck Company (518) 466-4011. I give this company an A+ rating."

"Tony is reliable, pleasant, knows his stuff.. His price was very good. He did a beautiful job on my shower and my floor. He gutted the walls, insulated the walls, sheetrocked and mudded and painted with primer!! Well above and beyond the job! He also fixed a heating vent/register which I had no idea wasn't hooked up so now my bathroom is warmer. I would highly recommend him. He cleans up after himself too which, I have found as I redo an old house and have used a lot of contractors, is rare. You cannot go wrong with him! I am recommending him to everyone so you'd better hurry up and get him out to your house for a price and a date! Angies list asked me if I'd hire him again and I am going to use him for my kitchen tiling project."

"Fine. I called Admir yesterday and he promptly replied. He is highly responsive and arrived this morning to do the job. I already had the parts so he re-installed-- as best as could be done considering he was swinging a hammer 20 feet in the air. He was here for 15 minutes. When it came time to pay, he asked what I thought was right. Considering the truck trip, ladder use and installation, I paid him $80 which he seemed pleased to receive. He is extremely hardworking and conscientious and I would hire him again. He previously pressure washed my shed, did an excellent job and for a fair price."

"I'd had a evaluation and estimate from Exterior Solutions and after then not having received a call back or return email (the inspector had also pulled a loose single from my roof leaving it exposed) I went back to Angie's List. T&T came up, noting it had a good rating, I called. Dave and a colleague arrived, evaluated the roof and offered to repair it free of charge. Still blown away by this. A member of their crew arrived yesterday and did this; apparently they've ended up correcting other work done by Exterior Solutions and they only wanted the good will rating for the work. Incredibly nice and very professional."
