"I was recommended to Bradley Builders Inc. by a trusted neighbor. Bradley Builders, Inc. is an outstanding roofing contractor with a personal touch. Brad Arensberg, the owner, is a constant professional who truly has a passion for roof installations. His roofing knowledge, high standards, and customer service are unparalleled. I was thoroughly educated on the roofing installation process. Brad also recommended shingle colors that would complement my home’s exterior. On the day of installation, Brad and team arrived at my home promptly as he stated. Brad served as the onsite supervisor while getting his hands dirty. Brad and team efficiently and meticulously completed my new roof in two days. Each day, my home was thoroughly cleaned after the completion of work. Brad is a man of integrity which is refreshing and hard to find in a contractor nowadays. He answered all my questions and responded to phone calls or emails within 24 hours (usually in the same business day). There were no surprises upon the completion of my new roof. Brad delivered exactly what he stated. I absolutely love my new roof. I have received many compliments from my neighbors, family, and friends. It was a pleasure to have Brad install my roof. His quality work speaks for itself. My experience with Brad was excellent. I strongly recommend Bradley Builders, Inc. for a professional roof installation. They are truly worth the investment. I would not hesitate to call on Bradley Builders, Inc. for any future roofing needs."

"Fantastic. Great, prompt and accurate communication and estimates from the owner. The on-site team completed their work in time estimated, were friendly, communicative and really great with explaining what they were doing. My chimneys had some missing brick and were dirty and the crowns were in pretty bad shape. I was really worried about additional damage and more extensive repairs. We got several quotes and really felt that Utmost Renovation seemed to be the most honest and understood what we were looking for. We got a quote from someone who thought they needed to be rebuilt - for 3x what Utmost quoted. I, no mason or expert but there was no way they were in that rough of shape. Utmost got the brick work patched and repaired - can’t see a difference with the 70 year old original brick ! - everything is cleaned, caulked, and sealed. I’m thrilled with the work, the team, and will have them out to do some other work in the future."

"My chimney was deteriorating and after struggling with it and a leaky roof for the past several years, I decided to make the plunge to have it fix once and for all. After receiving recommendations and reviewing Angie’s list, I asked 7 companies for bids and 4 responded. I had the first company take pictures so that I could see the problem(s) first hand, which proved to be invaluable for subsequent bids and discussions. One said for $500 he’d stucco the old chimney and “if” that didn’t stop the leaks, he’d recommend I get the chimney replaced. I sent pictures to Integrity Masonry and asked for a bid to either fix or replace it. Upon reviewing the photos, Arnold Pack, the owner, sent me a bid in April to replace the chimney. The third company offered to do water seal, crown coat, & flashing seal for $707 but could not guarantee the warranty on water seal treatment without my purchasing a flue liner for $879. REALLY?!?! In mid July, the last company interviewed recommended the chimney be torn down and rebuild for $5,475 & ‘recommended’ the flue be lined with an aluminum flex liner for $815, or a stainless steel liner for $1,375 – total cost $6290 or $6850. Of course, I did my due diligence regarding the “liner” and found it wasn’t necessary for my situation. After 4 months of bids, discussions & more aggravation, I contacted Integrity Masonry, accepted their bid and they began the first week of August. In a word, this is a GREAT small business! The Integrity Masonry crew pictured below (Jeremiah [Arnold’s son], Billy, Tim and Arnold ) are amazingly hard workers, and really good guys. They dismantled the old chimney on the first day, carrying all the old bricks off the roof in buckets, removed 2 clay flues that were broken, then cleaned off the roof and other debris before they left. Arnold bought me three different sets of bricks and I selected the color that I wanted. As the guys began dismantling the chimney, I showed Arnold the ceiling leak inside the house as well as the chimney clean out cavity in the basement, which he emptied. He didn’t think the chimney caused the leak, then sent in one of his crew, a former roofer, who was also skeptical that the chimney was the case of the leak. During the course of dismantling the chimney and examining the roof, they found that water was getting in behind a downspout, seeping in and around some loose roof tiles and oddly angled areas that were hard to get at and hadn’t been properly sealed. The next day with bricks and clay flue liners in tow (having scoffed at the notion that I needed either an aluminum or stainless steel liner), the crew built the new chimney in one long and hot summer day. Since the black chimney cap screen which I already had was in good shape with a little rust, I got some Krylon metal spray paint and Arnold gave it a few coats which prevented me from having to purchase a new one. Finally, since the leaky roof still needed to be addressed, on a subsequent day, Arnold returned with the roofer, and having figured out what the problem was, spent the good part of a third day doing this repair which was above and beyond the chimney work, for which I paid an additional $125. And thus far, no more leaks! Whoopee! THIS OUTFIT IS ONE OF THE BEST-KEPT SECRETS IN COLUMBUS. Integrity Masonry is ABsolutely FABulous! The guys worked hard and the price was more than fair! Salt-of-the-earth guys with an honest day’s work ethic. You can’t get any better than that. I will definitely hire Integrity Masonry again. Kudos to them!"

"Everything was done in one day, except the spraying of waterproofing sealant.  It is a small company, so overhead costs are low, which is something I usually look to find.  His crew was mostly family members.  During the project, I asked him to look at two loose bricks on the inside fireplace.  He checked them, and then proceeded to install them with new mortar.  And there was no added charge, even thought that was not in the initial estimate to me. He totally replaced my son's chimney and that is why I had him do my chimney maintenance. <br />"

"I had crumbling steps and a back cement sidewalk behind my duplex. There was quite a slope to the back yard as well which prevented me from even attempting to install a paver/brick patio myself. I had 5 Angie's list companies give me quotes and Correy Fletcher was the most professional, punctual and gave me a rendering of the job along with the quote. It was exactly was I was looking for--it was actually better than I what I had envisioned. While I wanted to write a review sooner, I'm glad that I've waited over 18 months. As I said there was quite a slope to my yard and a small retaining wall had to be built to support the deck, which they filled up with dirt and grass seed, however after 2 winters and lots of traffic, the patio is still in perfect condition and my neighbors and I use it regularly. I would use Fletcher Brick Paving again in a heartbeat! I don't see how to leave photos or I would, Correy's rendering looks just like the final product!"

"In the Spring of 2019, bricks in our patio fell through, revealing a decent sized sink hole. It turned out the sink hole was due to our home builder that buried a disconnected conductor pipe. As a result, over a period of 7 years, our gutter dumped water under our brick paver patio and the dirt started washing out into the pipe. Our builder admitted it was their mistake and hired another company to repair the conductor pipe and patio. After the repair was completed, the patio did not look the same. It was two toned and you could see where the repair had been made. They used the original bricks from the patio so it wasn't clear what happened. They admitted it didn't look good and sent the patio people they used back out, but they couldn't fix it. We got estimates from other patio companies to fix the repair and no one knew what to do. They were all perplexed and had a different theory as to the issue. Most did not think it could be returned to the original state. Then, came along 9 Trees. Morgan and Joel came out to the house and felt the bricks could have been flipped. That was a theory of others, but no one felt they could confirm that was the case. Joel grabbed a simple screwdriver, flipped over one of the bricks, revealing the color of the original patio. All that needed to be done was to have the bricks popped up and flipped over. It was repairable to the original state! I do not understand why no other company did that simple confirmation!! In addition to flipping the bricks, they also re-sanded the patio, applied a sealer and fixed some of the edges that were dropping. The quote came in lower to do ALL of that than another quote to just re-sand and fix the edges. The repair work started before the stay at home order due to COVID 19. They didn't have a chance to finish it before the order, but they stayed in contact with me and came back out to finish it as soon as they could. I really could not be happier with the end result. I'm pretty sure I screamed with excitement when I got my first look at the patio after the bricks had been flipped. 9 Trees restored our patio to it's original state and saved us so much money. THANK YOU JOEL and MORGAN!!!"

"I needed to replace my front brick steps from Brick to Concrete. We have been running into loose bricks, pretty much after each winter, to the extent that I was concerned about safety of visitors (my brother-in-law fell on a loose brick). Chris and crew showed up on time (like 1 min early!). And they did a great job taking all the bricks out and pouring concrete instead to give us a peace of mind and a good looking concrete steps. Throughout the process, Chris explained to me what is going on in detail and answered all my questions. I probably asked him the same question a few times and he patiently answered my questions. Chris is a master mason with specialty in concrete. He knows what he is doing and does it well. He is humorous, generous and a gentleman. Chris (personally) spent a lot of time power washing other areas of my pavers even though that was not part of the deal. I offered to pay him for it but he refused and said "I just want the place to look gorgeous when I leave. I highly recommend Chris and his team for any concrete / cement work."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Dublin, OH

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
