"I had plumbing leaks in a couple of places, but the men that did the work went above and beyond by replacing every component involved top to bottom to ensure there would be no leaks for a long time to come. Very satisfied with the quality of work as well as how quickly it was done."

"4/29/23 Christian tech checks our our home AC. He notes the cooling coils are rusty, a source of coolant leak, and the system, at 14 years age, is near it's end of life. He also noted some mold in the blower blades, which isn't easily seen. He put pressure gauges on the system at outside valves and reported coolant pressure was good. System was test run successfully. He sold us a 1 year maintenance agreement. 6/2/23 outside temp reaches 93 deg. We turned on the AC and only warm air came out. Outside compressor WOULD NOT RUN. We had Christian rep come out. He said all coolant had leaked out. He offered a leak test with dye for $510, or replace the "rusted" coil for at least $3681. We declined. A Christian salesman later quoted a full system replacement. We had another AC company investigate. He found the outside valves HAND TIGHT ONLY, which would allow coolant leak. We had him pressure test with nitrogen over a 4 day weekend, which he charged ONLY a $149 service call. Starting psi over 300. Psi after 4 days over 300 psi. We had him recharge the system. He noted that coils are rusty within 6 months from new. We then had him recharge the system. Total costs with labor & visits both companies $1,595. 7/11/23 Date writing this review. AC working well, same electric power usage for air temps as prior years. Christian seems more interested in selling new systems. Giving benefit of doubt, their 4/29 "technician" was incompetent."

"Eighteen months ago they put in a full new system (gas furnace, air handler, AC) a total cost of over $11,000. Now, I am selling my house, and the buyer inspectors found the wrong gauge electrical wire was run from the electric panel to the AC unit. It could be a fire hazard and needs to be corrected. Today they came to my house to check the work and agreed it is the wrong gauge wiring that was used and left saying they would come back tomorrow and replace it. Two hours later they called me and said they reviewed the paperwork and said since they reused the wire from the previous unit even though they should not have it there, It will be close to a $500 charge to run the correct wire. So just to know that is their a version of standing behind their work."

"Horrible customer service. Paid approximately $5,000 to have a water heater replaced and the very next day it wasn't working. The manager gives horrible service and I would recommend hiring any other company. I wish I could leave negative stars because one star is about 10 too many."

"After reading about them in a church bulletin and our next door neighbor use them I hired these folks who were great in the beginning and then things started to unravel. When their technicians took out the old furnace they hit a gas line and did not notice it. I then called a technician over repaired a part in the furnace and the gas smell was better but it was not gone. I contacted that Tech and he told me there's nothing else he could do. I then contacted the company who told me to call Pico in which I did and Pico came out and said that the pipe was damaged and the furnace is in the same room as are water heater which could have caused the catastrophe. Then we get to the items they sold me I am a disabled Veteran on a fixed income. I was told I was getting the "better" system, not the "good" and come to realize I received the cheapest, least efficient York system they offer. Both of my next door neighbors have a better system and paid less money I was charged almost $10,000 and ended up with a less efficient AC system which York's website said it wasn't entry level model and the furnace efficiency arrow was almost at the very bottom of the gauge. Our furnace was 41 years old and we have realized zero cost savings with the new $10,000 system. I guess they can live with that because I've not gotten any phone calls after emailing Tom their incredible sales guy. Do your due diligence I trusted this guy and I should not have."

FAQs for central a/c service or repair projects in Dublin, PA

A condenser fan motor is a crucial part of your air conditioner that prevents the compressor from overheating. It pulls heat from your AC unit to cool the refrigerant moving through the condenser coils. This allows your system to blow cool air and keeps everything running smoothly.

The most common causes of AC fan motor failure include loss of lubricant in the system due to overheating and a rusted or leaking run capacitor. Poor lubrication can also cause failure in the belt drive, which may impact the AC fan motor. Weather and electrical components can also affect your AC. For example, a storm could send water into your motor windings and damage the internal components.

Air conditioner fan motors last about 12 years on average, though they can last longer if maintained well. This includes keeping them clean and cooled as needed with annual air conditioner checkups. Routine maintenance is essential to catch AC fan issues early. An HVAC inspection can cost between $70 and $500, while AC cleaning services may range from $100 to $400.

A broken AC fan motor may need replacement because this part usually can’t be repaired. Several things indicate it’s time to replace your AC fan motor, including buzzing noises, a constantly running fan, unusually high energy bills, or an aging system. If you notice these signs, call an HVAC pro for help before the faulty motor starts to strain other parts of the AC system.

There are clear warning signs of a bad AC fan motor, including unusual interruptions in the fan operation. The motor might be malfunctioning if you hear weird noises like grinding or rattling or if the fan continues to spin when the unit is off. These indicators compromise your AC’s cooling performance and increase your energy costs. Addressing these issues immediately by contacting a trusted HVAC professional prevents further damage and safeguards your HVAC's efficiency.

Replacing your AC fan motor takes a professional one to four hours. The technician will start by assessing your system and safely removing the damaged motor. If a new part needs to be ordered, it might take a few days. Once the part is available, your pro will install it properly and make sure your system is running smoothly.
