"Joe is hard working, diligent, and honest. I hired him 1) to put up an antenna for local tv service and 2) to fix poor wifi signals. TV was converted from cable rapidly using leftover wires. Saving $ not paying for cable and streaming off wifi. Great signal strength! WiFi was harder. He worked with ATT to determine my new iMac was sucking signals. He installed a more powerful router that solved wifi issues when iMac is off. Now I have to work with Apple to figure out how to manage the computer searching. I would not hesitate to call Joe back again. He is an excellent technician and a fine person. He is pretty busy, so sometimes it takes a few days before he can come out, but he is worth the wait."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"My husband & I own a small business and I needed help with something on my lap top which I use for all our work. I didn't have a virus but needed what I guess would be a repair. I called and spoke with Bob who suggested I make an appointment as my issue could take some time. I called back a few days later & made the appointment. He called at exactly the agreed time. I'm familiar with having a company/person take over my computer which he did and then I went back to work while he did his work. He did need to call me several times about certain things but I basically did my work--but I admit I also watched at different times as he worked. It turned out what I needed took much longer than what he thought - he also told me that my old (about 10 years) lap top would be like it was when it was brand new! Not only was that accomplished he went way beyond fixing the original issue which was hard drive space (or lack of). He was very helpful with any questions and explained things in a way I could understand! Because it took so much longer I offered to pay more money but he would not accept any additional payment. I will be getting a new PC in a few months and I will definitely be contacting him to set some things up, walk me through some other things & handle some installations. It's SO nice to have someone trustworthy because let's face they can have access to everything on your computer. Don't hesitate to contact this company - my only few pieces of advise - have all the information you can gather about your PC/laptop - age - kind etc, a clear or as best as possible description of your issue, schedule extra time as it can take longer & if you 'watch" and see things you don't understand - don't panic - they will get things done as promised & most likely better!"

"the initial call for me to turn on computer and let the technician remotely access my computer. I was able to let him work on the problems and 2 hrs later he said he was finished.I asked him for his advice to help the computer run better from now on and his suggestion was to to change fire wall provider. I will call him back when it is time to change.

"I purchased the service and was contacted by Jason very quickly and we scheduled a time for him to take over my computer. I had a few questions before hand and Jason responded to those quickly as well. He sent me a couple of text messages before our scheduled time and emailed me the instructions on how to let him take over. I was able to watch him manipulate my computer the whole time. He spent about 2 hours cleaning up extra "junk" that was on my computer, eliminating numerous viruses my computer had contracted and he installed free anti-virus programs for me. When he was finished, he asked that I take some time browsing the web while he watched to be sure that I was not experiencing any of the same problems. After that he called and went over everything he did, gave me some great suggestions and showed me the details of the anti-virus programs he installed. I found him to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I'd definitely use his services again, but hope I don't have to!"

"My second appointment with Geek Choice in March went well. The phone call from the office to determine what I wanted to accomplish at the visit is a great idea. I would say that here is where Geek Choice can look for complications. For example, someone who's used a computer at work and at home may still be unaware of some basic ideas. For example, if a device is to be added, does it need to be charged, does the person have the correct cable or battery, etc. Young people know this; older people do not necessarily.
The representative was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and offered additional tips. He arrived within the time frame specified.

"Omar was very professional and fixed a long standing problem with our home theater/indoor outdoor speaker system that previous home theater specialists could not bring back on line. Omar solved our speaker wiring problems quickly and efficiently. He also completed a second TV/sound wiring project. I highly recommend Omar for initial home theater and AV/speaker installation including indoor/outdoor speaker installation and repairs. We will definitely would hire him for future projects."

"No complaints. The Technician was professional and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I used an Angies list coupon for one of the jobs and it was a fair price. The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."

"It went fine.  I had a Big Deal for $49 for 1 1/2 hour of computer repair time.  He was only able to get about half the computer done in that time so I ended up paying another $300 to have him finish. That was fine because the computer is working and running much better than it was.  While he was here he explained a lot about what was going on with my computer and how he was fixing it, which was nice.  He did recommend that I invest in a new computer as mine is pretty old and that he could build me one for just under $1,000.  I told him I'd think about it.  I did some research a few days later into the cost of new computers and emailed him a few questins regarding the specs on the computer he would build.  I haven't heard back from him on those questions since then."
