He listened to all of our requirements for our new deck to replace the old deck, did the design exactly as specified and handled submitting the design and obtaining the permit from the city. Throughout the permit process Scott handled getting inspections completed for each stage including the final approval. Our deck is a two level deck connected by a staircase. It included new footings and also other cement work around an adjacent hot tub. We went with the composite decking and couldn't be happier with the quality of the materials used not just for the decking but for the structure itself and the railings. "I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! "The work that was done was done well. However, I had a difficult time negotiating the terms of the deal without committing to more than what I wanted, what was pre-purchased, and maybe more than what was needed. The provider should not have invested half of the hours purchased into the job then say that the whole thing needed to be replaced; this did not sit well with me. We finally agreed on how to complete the job which added a couple more hours, one of which I paid for and the other was given complimentary since the whole thing took 7 weeks from purchase time until completion for 6 hours worth of work. It looks great but it was frustrating. I've purchased two other super deals from Angie's that were completed with very little effort on my part. | | |"
