"Paramount Pros ended up doing a good job on new gutters, painting wood soffit & fascia, and trim around sliding patio doors. However, they no-showed the first two times I had them scheduled without calling, and took more than a month to complete a fairly simple job, probably because they were waiting on a supplier. I would know for sure if they were better communicators. I had to call and ask questions. I also had to have them come back a couple of times to finish jobs correctly. In the pick two dilemma - price, speed, or quality - they're good for price and quality if you are patient and diligent about following up. If you need it done fast and right the first time, find someone else and be prepared to pay a higher price."

"Dave was wonderful in all aspects concerning the repair of our chimney, that was damaged from the earthquake in March 2020. We had several estimates from other companies that seemed more expensive, let alone reasonable.. When we received the quote from Dave we were quite surprised. His estimate was so much less than other company's. We accepted his quote on the spot with out even having to think about it.. The work performed was complete in a timely and professional manner. We were so please, with how dependable Dave was in his follow through on every thing he said would be done. Including when he said the job would be completed.. We believe, it would be in any ones best interest to contact his company if ever needing any chimney repair."

"<p>They did a fantastic job of cleaning the brick on my house. There was a lot of white staining under the gables and staining in other places, and now it is all the same color, and much brighter. I hired someone else to remove the staining a couple of years ago, and they failed, and I also tried to remove it myself without any success, so I am very pleased with the results.</p> <p>My chimney was also falling apart and they did a great job of rebuilding it. They matched the color of the original mortar perfectly, so you can't tell where the new mortar starts. They also poured a nice concrete crown, and the chimney looks great. </p> They were friendly, prompt and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them. <br />"

"I have nothing bad about to say about Mountain View. Jason took time to come out on a Saturday to provide a bid. He was very thorough and let me know what to expect and explained all my options. We decided to have them restore our 107 year old Foundation. The price was great and once he gave me the time line they were on time and very professional. The work completed looks great!! 10/10 would recommend."

"It took him 3 days instead of the 1 day he initially quoted me but it was very hot so I understand he wanted to work when it was not as torturous up on my roof. He ended up not having the right materials or bricks to complete the job the way that he described to me, but at the end of the day the chimneys are capped off and no longer letting water seep in. Since I'm planning on selling the house, I'm overall satisfied but I would be hesitant to use his services for a larger project since he doesn't have any other employees at this time. <br />"

"I found her website girlwhorocks.com, and called for an estimate. She came over and measured and we went over some different stone types, and pictures. She was able to come a couple weeks later after another job was completed. When she came to start the project she hauled in thousands and thousands of pounds of stone, and proceeded to hand chisel and place each stone. The result was just beautiful, like an artist. I would have paid a lot more! Shannon is awesome."

"Honest and honorable. It took me 10 years to save enough money and build enough courage to renovate my 100+ old home. After failing to find anyone affordable, or anyone at all, I received the owner, Rob's, contact details from a friend whose real estate agent recommended him. From the first call, which he answered immediately, Rob was responsive, up front, and honest; so were his subcontractors, all of whom I liked and trusted to do quality work. From beginning to end (whole process took ~6 weeks, which is the time frame he quoted me), Rob was there to make sure everything went well and that I was happy with the result. I am so happy! My reno involved extensive floor leveling and stabilizing; floor and wall tile work; laminate floor and trim installation; wall modification to close and open doorways; plumbing, electrical and more. I fully recommend Morehouse Construction, and I hope to work with them to renovate other areas of my home in the future."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Eagle Mountain, UT

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
