"They did a great job on the foundation repair adding 8 push piers and successfully moving the foundation back into place. However, in their rush they put a hole in the back of my house with the backhoe and it took them almost 6 months to repair and repaint the damage. I still recommend them since they were the only ones with the correct foundation fix."

"Brandon and Crew (2) were very hard working tackling this huge project. Digging to the foundation, redoing drain tile, sealing and coring walls was all done with quality materials. Brandon explained the process clearly as it progressed. Kept me informed on each day's plan. The clay was rock hard, and much of the job had to be hand dug, but the guys were amazing getting through it. This work is messy and can be brutal on the landscape, but Hart left my place looking better than it started. I made a special request that they save seven, 8 ft tall Burning Bushes and replant. Brandon was very accommodating in staging them elsewhere on the property during the 2 weeks of waterproofing, and then prepping their return to the area. Landscaping was completed with attractive River Rock. We are dry, and the landscaping looks fantastic !!! Great Job !!! (with Lifetime Warranty)"

"We listened to what they said. We have been working on it ourselves since then and we have succeeded. I am sure that what they proposed would have solved some things but I think that there were other issues that we have addressed. They were not completely accurate. They suggested what they could do but we did other things too. When you have foundations, you have other areas that you can look at like downspouts and stuff like that and that was not what their area of expertise was. We started by doing the obvious things and it has helped so I do not think that we are going to need their service after all and they were suggesting things that cost a whole lot more than $49. We were out of town after we purchased the deal so it was not until March or April that they did the inspection but that was our fault and not theirs. We were in Florida during that time and also you do not do inspections during the winter so we had to wait until the spring. I did not meet them but my husband did and I think that he respected them enough. He was fine with them. We would call them again if we felt that we needed the digging of the foundation. I think that he would definitely consider them. They did what they were asked to do and what we felt that they were going to do."

"I have used Rich on a few other projects around the house including replacing my roof and waterproofing the basement.  Rich is very knowledgeable , honest, hard working and has reasonable prices.  He shows up when he says he will and cleans up at the end of every day.  I highly recommend him and will use him again for other projects I have planned."

FAQs for concrete foundation raise projects in East Canton, OH

On average, it takes two to seven days to physically raise your house. However, this does not include the preparation work, which is often the most lengthy process. The entire project, including preparation, obtaining permits, disconnecting utilities, and any subsequent landscaping, can take four to eight weeks. This timeline ensures everything is done safely and that your home remains structurally sound.

If proper safety protocols are not followed, raising a house can cause severe damage, as the process involves applying controlled force to the home's structure. The risks involved make it crucial to hire a skilled contractor who uses engineered methods to secure your home and prevent any harm to your household.

If your foundation shows signs of instability after raising your home, you might need to add structural support. A structural engineer can assess your foundation and recommend reinforcements to ensure your house stays stable and safe for the long term. Available support options include installing additional piers or pilings, reinforcing existing footings, or using steel beams to distribute the load more evenly.

You will need a structural engineer to assess your home before you begin. These professionals determine whether your house is suitable for lifting and identify any issues that could compromise its stability. Their expertise ensures that the project is designed correctly and all risks are managed to achieve a successful lift.
