"Overall, we are not convinced that this installation was worth the cost or disruption and the experience did not meet the expectations we had based on our conversations with the sales rep. While an interior waterproofing system made a lot of sense to address our issues, once work started, it was clear that our house already had an underdrain system in place, but the crew continued demolition and installation. As part of the work, Stay Dry required replacement of our one-year-old sump pump (and battery backup) with their system and charged extra for the battery backup. The crew worked quickly, but caused some unnecessary damage to our finished basement walls and the concrete finish was less smooth than expected. The third star is provided for the follow-up visit by their customer service team to clean up some of those shortcomings."

They also worked Quickly and neatly. They answered all of my questions (as I had many) and they cleaned up very well once they were done. Overall, the experience went very well. "I liked the entire operation, the way they do business at Advanced Restoration and Waterproofing. Moles are causing drainage and erosion issues and if eliminating them does not work I plan to hire Advanced. I did research on several other drainage companies that gave me estimates and Advanced specializes in drainage They are bonded, and insured against damage to underground utility lines as well as workmen s injury, etc. They also guarantee their work which many small scale operators don t. Long story short, if you go, as I often have in the past, with a lower quote…… the final invoice is above the initial estimate (low balled), plus the re-do to get it right, and the risk of damage to an underground cable (cost) will more than offset (exceed) the initial quote from Advanced. The best only costs a dime more. Very professional all around."

"I Hired Buckeye Waterproofing because they did my son and daughter in laws house and they were very pleased and the basement looked great. I was nervous I'm an older man if I could've done it myself I would've but i'm glad I didn't. My basement was leaking had mold, a wall moving, and cracks. it was in awful shape and completely unusable. Rick came out and gave me an estimate which I felt was fair due to the horrible condition of the basement. I hired them right away and they got the job started right away. Rick came out with a crew of 4 guys the day the job was set to start. He explained everything to me went over the details I was able to tell him specifics I wanted they set up plastic so my stuff wouldn't get dirty and plastic hanging in the doorways so it wouldn't get the other room's  dirty. They also set up tarp to walk on so my floors didn't get dirty. They also set ply-wood on the lawn so the machine didn't ruin my lawn. Over a period of 4 days they waterproofed my basement from the outside and installed 6 structural straps from the inside. The sprayed mold removal on the walls and scrubbed them. They also filled in all the cracks with  mortar. The waterproofing fixed the leaking, the straps prevented the wall from moving more. I haven't had a problem since and i'm finally able to use my basement. I couldn't be more grateful and happy I hired them.

"I originally gave Barnett's an A but now as I went back in to install the wall sconces and outlet covers, (we had the carpet cleaned so this is the first time this could be done) I noticed that most of the corners were missed and one wall has to be completely repainted so many spots were missed. The room is dark with dark colors but they knew that from the start and that was discussed. My wife and I will repaint all of the trim (brush strokes) and the south wall. Hopefully it will match (flat burgundy) so we do not have to repaint the entire room. Really disappointed. Picture of wall is just a sample - there are many spots like this."
