"I was referred to B-Dry by a friend after I had several people provide erroneous opinions and diagnoses for a water problem in my basement.  I even received an erroneous diagnosis from someone I had found on Angie's List, and was so grateful for his suggestions that I gave him a stellar review.  At least he was honest enough to not allow me to hire him for a job that he was not equipped to perform.   <br /> Turns out that the diagnoses and suggestions I received prior to B-Dry coming to my home, would not have solved the problem, which actually stemmed from a blocked drainpipe into which the water feed tube coming from my humidifier was draining.  The sad thing is that I had suggested to the first service professional, an HVAC technician, that it might be the heating system or the humidifier, but after checking, he convinced me that the water was coming from the opposite direction, and possibly from outside.  I was right and he was wrong, but he was the professional and I took his word.   <br /> Eventually a friend suggested B-Dry, and they were very prompt in sending a certified inspector, Brad Hopkins, to evaluate my situation at a time that was convenient to me.  Brad quickly analyzed the situation and identified the problem as the result of the backed-up drain and the constantly flowing water coming from the humidifier water feed tube.  Once I turned off the humidifier, the water stopped.   <br /> Brad did not charge me for his diagnosis, and his knowledge and ability to assess the situation surpassed that of anyone who had surveyed the problem during the seven weeks of siege.  I highly recommend B-Dry, and I am especially grateful to Brad Hopkins. <br />"

"Mike the owner & his crew Donny etc. were great. The house we purchased didn't have a sump pump or French drain. Mike was friendly & examined what needed to be done & was very informative with his inspection. Without getting into detail there were a few obstacles in their way (none if it their fault) and they were able to still complete the job. In fact, they went above & beyond because of said issues that arose. Everyone was friendly, professional & hard working. My wife & I were a bit nervous having a job take place in our house as soon as we bought it (having 2 kids, 2 full time jobs, 2 dogs, 2 cats, selling existing house & a new mortgage is nerve rattling) but Mike & his team put our minds at ease with being prompt and finishing the job right & on time. My Mother even called Mike (without me knowing) and had him on the phone for 30 minutes, which we laughed about recently when he came back today because I had a general question - which wasn't related to the job he did. He gave me advice with my issue and helped out with another small thing I had to do in the basement - like he was a buddy of mine just helping out. Your crew was so kind and so professional and meticulous, that they knew that two particular windows were very important to my wife.  Your crew wanted to get them perfect and asked me some questions about them, that I could not answer. My wife was feeling better, but still in the hospital, and I called her on the phone, while your crew waited for me, as she and I discussed for several minutes the exact placement of the windows. Some minor changes had to be made and your crew could have easily just slapped the two windows in the new location, which was only slightly off of the original plan, and be done with it, but they stopped and pointed out where my wife originally wanted them and the new location difference and wanted to be sure that my wife understood the change, and wanted me to talk to my wife first. I was so very impressed that they made the adjustments on the spot that my wife suggested over the phone. I don’t think any other company would have gone through this much trouble to please their customers! <br /> You also were very respectful of our property, neighbors, and your crew were always very willing to stop and explain the process of what was going to happen next. Not one time did we ever feel like we were in your way. Actually, it was the opposite, we felt like you and your crew were very excited to show us your equipment and how it worked and actually wanted us around so we could see how it all worked and so we could see for ourselves how everything was perfect - and it was! <br /> We will always remember you and think of you so highly. "Our house is in the middle of 1.25 acres of land with about 1/8th of an acre in a fenced-in area for privacy located directly behind the house where we have a sun porch which is attached to the house, an above ground pool, a screen house, and a shed. The patio area was made up of various materials to include rubber matting, bricks, and a wooden sidewalk leading from the sun porch to the pool - totally unattractive. We called several companies to come and give us their ideas and a quote. Mr Ed Troyer arrived at the agreed to time with pictures of past jobs and company pamphlets describing the materials, colors, and patterns that could be utilized. After describing what we had in mind he laid out the plan on paper, made several suggestions that we liked, worked up the quote, and gave us a start and finish date (weather permitting of course). Mr Troyer was very cordial, knowledgable, thorough with all explanations, and attentive to our wants. One condition to his starting work was that we had company arriving in two weeks and we did not want to be in the middle of the project when they arrived so start the job as soon as possible to get it done in time or wait until the company left. <br /> <br /> After getting the job Mr Troyer gave us a start date (which was before the company was to arrive) but showed up a day sooner then that (after calling) to start work. The work was done timely and professionally. We were so happy with the appearance that we decided to add even more work before he left. We added a walkway from the back door of the garage to the shed, a connecting walkway to the patio he just poured, and a pad for our BBQ grill. <br /> <br /> The back yard now has a WOW factor. Friends and relatives are amazed at how nice the area looks. We are so happy with the outcome. We have recommended Gullwing Contracting to friends and family. Should we have additional concrete work done in the future, Gullwing Contracting will be our first choice. <br /> <br />"

"Dry-Tek made a 150% improvement to our crawlspace. If you don't want your floor joists and other parts of the crawlspace damaged by humidity, then I would recommend you get an encapsulation, it's much cheaper than repairing the damage. Also, Austin provided us with before and after pictures of our crawlspace once the work was completed. What a difference."

"The job was completed very well and even they adjusted the project to suit some new found issues after digging. Basement is now dry and free of leaks or dampness.  They know what they are doing and the results show it!!! <br />"

"It went just great for the first couple of years. They were personable and caring. We recommended them to friends and neighbors and paid for a maintenance agreement. Then things went really bad. There was a storm which caused flooding and they refused to help us. Told us that it would be a couple of weeks before they could pump out the very deep water underneath. No assessment was done, just "sorry, can't do it". We hired someone else to help us pump out the water. Several days after we'd had the water pumped out, they did send someone over to look under the house. Move forward several months, we had our home lifted (because of the flooding) and an addition put on. They gave our contractor a bid of $14,000 to re-do our crawl space!! The area is not that large, (around 1500 sq feet)!!! Our contractor asked them to salvage some of the equipment prior to lifting the house so we could save some money. He reported to us that their response was it wasn't worth their time. We won't do business with them again."
