"Stephen, first came to clean my gutters and then I asked him what, if anything, could be done to fix the gutters to prevent the clogging from happening in the future. He suggested some repitching of the gutters, a few leak repairs and the installation of shur Flo gutter guards. I asked about a few other items that had been suggested to me over the years by other contractors and instead of simply trying to upsell me on something that didn't make sense, he saved me a ton of money through honestly going through the options and explaining the most effective solution for my situation. "Our experience with Kitchen and Bath World was excellent; we are completely satisfied. We had two full bathrooms completely re-done as well as new kitchen counter tops and laminate flooring installed. Emily LaRose, the designer, is the consummate professional designer. She has a firm grasp of design concepts and gave us functional and beautiful designs. She is a skillful communicator, equally strong at explaining choices and listening to and addressing our concerns or preferences. Emily kept the projects on track and made herself available for our questions. Our initial choice for laminate flooring for the kitchen was discontinued by the manufacturer. Emily immediately contacted us, and we met. She presented other recommended choices that would work with our counter top choice and existing cabinetry. We ended up with beautiful flooring and an on-schedule installation. Emily visited our home throughout the projects and always answered our phone calls and emails promptly. "The deck came out beautifully! I hired Stoney Brook to start the deck construction in November expecting that construction wouldn’t happen until the spring. They actually began the engineering drawings and permitting process over the holidays and dug the footings (partially using a jackhammer) in the coldest week of the winter in January. The only snag occurred when the shipment of flooring material was not enough to cover the framing, creating a 2 week delay for more flooring material to arrive. However, it was still the middle of March, and the rest of the material arrived last week, enabling completion at the end of the week. So the deck was completed just in time for spring instead of having construction drag on into the spring and possibly summer."
