"Do not look any futher for a garage door screen...this is the ONE!

Jim installed the Breezy Living screen for our two car garage door. WOW! it looks great and is easy to use. This screen allows us to work and relax in the garage without sharing it with the insects which are attracted into the garage by te lights.

Installion was a very professional job. One return visit was required for a minor adjustment.

System works GREAT and the wife is happy.

Great job and product!"

"I chose this company because they'd done a neighbors' concrete and they were pleased with the experience and the sealant that was used doesn't change the appearance like most do.
When I first contacted them they were booked ahead with big jobs. They could get to me by mid-June, but would fit my job in earlier if possible. They did, several weeks earlier.
They cleaned my driveway, personal walk and patio, public sidewalk, and curb. Special care was given to the highly dirty/mildewed areas. I pointed out some decorative border stones and a repaired area that would be fragile and he took care to not damage those (or anything else).
They discussed whether the water-based or solvent-based sealant would be better given the age of my concrete (and the tendency to mildew). The solvent-based was used with special attention to those areas prone to mildew.
They kept me well-informed re: what was being done and what I can expect going forward.
I'm LOVING the clean look and also seeing water just bead up on top!!
I didn't give an 'A' re: price, but it may have been competitive re: what I had done and the products/tools used. I hadn't gotten any other prices since I knew I wanted them to do it."

"3/12/14 - Request for quote. Representative arrived to discuss details
3/21/14 - First quote version via email
4/2/14 - Final quote agreed to and permits issued
4/23/14 - Material delivered and work commenced
5/8/14 - Work completed
Throughout the entire process, Andy kept us in the loop. Attention to detail was outstanding. I never expected it to look this good. This is a screened-in, attached 12' x 12' porch completed in cedar with tongue-and-groove boards, stairway and railing. The inside ceiling is vaulted with a fan box and outlets on all walls. Integration to the house walls and roof appears seamless. I believe they exceeded their budget on this one.
Although some might think they are a bit pricey, it's worth every penny if you want a 1st Class job done."

FAQs for door or window screens install or repair projects in East-springfield, OH

Most off-the-shelf screens come in fixed sizes, ranging from 18 inches by 20 inches to 36 inches by 74 inches, which fit the vast majority of residential windows. If your opening falls outside that range or has a unique shape, you’ll need a custom screen built to the exact measurements. Going custom ensures a secure fit, a solid barrier against bugs, and a clean, finished look.

The decision to repair or replace your screen depends on the extent of the damage. Small holes or tears in otherwise solid mesh can be patched, and a sturdy frame usually doesn’t need to go anywhere. However, once the frame is bent or the mesh is brittle and fraying in several spots, replacement becomes a more sensible option—and often proves to be less costly in the long run. Take a close look at both parts before making a decision.

To rescreen a window, start by prying out the old spline, then lift the torn mesh from the frame. Lay the new screen over the frame, allowing about an inch of excess on all sides, and hold it in place while pressing fresh spline into the groove with a roller. Check that the mesh is taut—many pros rest a small brick on it while they work—then trim the overhang with a utility knife.

Most window screens last for 10 to 12 years. Time, sun, and weather gradually make the mesh brittle, so you’ll start to see sagging, rips, or thinning spots that let bugs get through. Check the screens each season; if the mesh crumbles or the frame warps, it’s time to replace them to keep air flowing and pests outside.

Most pros can swap out a screen in 10 minutes to an hour. A quick pop‑in replacement goes fastest, while fitting new mesh into an existing frame or working on a hard‑to‑reach upper window adds time. Either way, plan for at least a few extra minutes per screen so the installer can verify the fit and ensure the spline is seated correctly.
