Jane, Brandon, and their entire crew and subcontractors were all great to work with. They were very responsive, hard working, professional, stuck closely to their schedules, and did high quality work across the board. "On Monday morning we woke up with no heat.  At 8:15 AM I called Cuddy Brothers and spoke with Chris. He said they could come out in the afternoon, and asked that I text him the address.  He also said he might be able to get there sooner, and that he would let me know within the hour.  He called back about 45 minutes later to say he would be there in about 30 minutes.  He was friendly and professional on the phone and in person.  He assessed the situation, listened to my description of the noise the boiler was making and what we had already tried, and was quickly able to diagnose the problem.  He didn't have the part in his truck, so went to get it from his shop. He replaced the part, made sure everything was running again, then gave me a tutorial on how the system works.  Although the job took more than an hour as he had to go to his shop he only charged for an hour of labor.  The part was $225, and the labor was $150, not cheap, but seemed fair to me.  He also offered to talk with my husband by phone if he had any questions. We would hire Cuddy Brothers again, and are happy that we found a local plumber to work with.
