The customer service representatives in the office were consistently helpful and good-natured as we made, adjusted and finalized appointments. Justin Collier did a full survey of the existing garage door and condition of our 55-year-old house's garage threshold. He explained the various options for doors and door openers. At no time did he recommend any product, but was consistently careful to give us information and answer our many questions. He detailed the upgrades necessary to the physical framing of our home’s garage threshold, including measurements of the materials necessary to bring the door framing itself up to snuff. When he installed the new garage door and door opener, Justin was prompt, thorough, and thoroughly professional. He demonstrated the particular components of our new system and didn’t leave the job site until all was installed and approved. "I had my old roll-up garage doors replaced with regular garage doors. A technician from the company came out, measured, and ordered the doors. Once the doors arrived from the manufacturer, the same technician returned and took down my old doors and installed the new doors. Took a couple of hours, but did a good job. My new doors are very easy to open and close now. I'm very satisfied. Cost $2000.00 for 2 new doors, hardware, and installation."

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

Smiles on their faces and ready to do the job for you from the time they drove up. I had 2 1980’s garage doors that were completely worn out and needed replacing. Joe and Dennis are very professional in their approach to the task before them. They did a marvelous job and my wife and I are so happy and completely satisfied with the doors. Absolutely beautiful!! All you have to do is turn them loose, get out of their way and just let them do what they do. You won’t find anyone anywhere that will do you a better job than these two. They’ll even take the time to stop and jaw with you if you’ll get them a soft drink and a snack. My impression was that these two fellows were country boys just like me. My kind of folks. My recommendation for them is a 10!! You can’t go wrong with them."

"Halo came in gave me what I considered fair estimates for the jobs i was requesting. There was some delays do to rain
and a few other glitches. none where major and halo resolved each one swiftly and efficiently. The work was done in a timely manner and for or sometimes below his original quote. Halo was an honest and hard working company. I will be happy to using them again."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
