We also just had a table that belonged to my husband's grandmother. It also looks beautiful! If you have wood furniture that you need to have repaired and/or refinished he does a great job! Also his prices are very reasonable."

They repaired the chair seat and gave the chair an all over tightening up because it was near collapse. The repairs were completed before the promised date for a bit under the estimate. The gentleman I worked with was pleasant and explained the repairs to me when he gave me the estimate and showed me the repairs before I paid. They had some pieces in the shop awaiting pick up that they had refinished. The quality was beautiful and meticulous. I highly recommend Second Time Around."

"<p>We dropped off the cushion at Scott's workshop which is in the garage at his home.  He assessed what needed to be done and did it on a timely basis.  The foot is exactly the right height and style as the one that needed replacing (though you don't see it as it's covered by an upholstered skirt.  The tears were well repaired and very hard to see as the patterned fabric disguise the stitching.  Unfortunately, one of them has separated slightly in the 3 mos. since, but I suspect that's a function of the material being stretched fairly tight on the footrest and having 2 teens using it in a less than gentle way. <br /> <br /></p> <p>The My only issue was that I had to call to check on the status and usually would have expected to get a call when it was done, but that wasn't a big deal.  </p> <p>Would definitely use again.  Good value for the repair to extend the life of the furniture.</p> <br />"

I thought that was high but someone else without seeing it est <br /> 1000.00. So I think that he is reasonable in the refinishing category, <br /> but that this type of thing is always expensive.
