"Excellent service from the first time I called.  Gentleman came out to provide estimate, very informative and professional.  I compared their quote with two other companies, Baker was a better product at a comparable price.  Installers showed up on time as scheduled, removed old door and installed new one in about half a day.  We are very happy with the new door, it looks great, and more importantly, it is an insulated door that has made a significant difference in the garage temperature as well as the comfort of the two bedrooms above the garage.  I definitely recommend Baker, and actually one or our neighbors has since used them after seeing our new door.

"Joseph was extremely professional. We discussed the issue, he assessed the situation and completed the work all in the span of an hour. The price was fair. It was in line with my other quotes, but still came out at the brst value. Without bring pushy or using sales tactics, he discussed upgrades to the garage door system. "In the last 15 years at this location I have had garage door maintenance 3 times and I have found Monerey Shop to be the best and most reasonable.   I called and they came first thing next morning. Problem was a broken gear in my double overhead garage door. They resolved that and I had them replace my outside remote control which required programming.  They suggested they should check all the handsfree controls in all of my cars and did so and suggested future things I should look for in maintaining my 15 year old doors.  I had them out a few years ago to replace a broken spring where the good service was the same.  They work on a service fee plus hourly rate plus parts.  They watch the clock to be sure to complete in the least amount of time their parts are reasonable (no large markup) and I have found them to be  inexpensive when compared to other local companies.  I will have them back for any additional maintenance I may need."

"He arrived punctually and showed me various photos of mail boxes on his smart phone and associated pricing. He subsequently went to Lowes and picked out one. Upon his return he was excited to tell me that he found a mail box cheaper than the one we agreed upon and it had a magnetic door on both ends. He dug up the old mail box and post (with a tool I was able to borrow from a neighbor), concreted in the new post and fastened the new mail box enclosure over the post. He also affixed new address numbers on the post. Looks awesome. He carted away the old post and box. A job beautifully done! He also was able to give me both a senior and military discount."

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

Steve arrived on time on a blustery and snowy day.  We have a large wooden shed with heavy double doors that were impossible for me to open without calling my husband to prop them up.  I thought

we would have to cancel because of the weather or find another project but he repaired the doors, moved the hinges and reversed the handles to make them easier to open.  I have my shed back again!  Now, we?re waiting for him to come back to repair and paint our kitchen ceiling.
