I already had done a significant amount of research comparing Alarm.com to ADT and some of the self-install options, but Jeremy was able to provide even more information and help me to understand better the pros and cons of each approach. Larry did our installation and also was very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining each step of the installation process and providing me with a tutorial at the end. My wife and I have had no issues with the system so far. It is very intuitive, and we have been able to customize it to fit our unique needs. I highly recommend considering 1st Security for anyone looking at installing, switching, or upgrading their security system."

"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

"George was very professional when we first dealt with him and did a satisfactory job.  However, when we wanted him to do smaller jobs, he did not respond or set up dates to come and then did not show up nor did he call.  His father, who is the actual owner of George's Painting, came to our house for an estimate to have 3 closet shelves installed (the metal mesh type) for hwich he wanted $650.00.  We thought that was entirely too much as the material cost less than $100.  We looked for someone else off of Angie's list and got an excellent person who only charged $200 which was more reasonable and on top of that did an excellent job.    In addition we are having numerous other things done at reasonable prices.  Had I waited a bit longer, I could have gotten my house painted much cheaper as well.  George is overpriced and does not respond when you call or will he make an appointment with you and then not keep it.  I am glad I found someone else who is capable of doing what we want, is professional, does excellent work and his price is more reasonable.    I have already had work done by this other company and we are very satisfied.

"A replacement of a two car garage door with insulation. I was extremely impressed with the timeframe the door was delivered and put on. Ray's professionalism was the best I've seen in a long time. He then call to confirm his appointment and time and was there 10 minutes before his time very impressive. He then fix my light and my garage door and that wasn't part of the deal. Ray from United garage door was superb ."

"BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT !!!!! I purchased a 2 hr handyman coupon to fix an exterior door that wasn't closing properly. This door needed to be fixed. A hinge had come undone I had heard that “winter was coming”. The repairman arrived on time and he suggested an alternative fix to re-notching the hinges and tearing out the framing of the door. My door was closing perfectly in half an hour! This quick fix gave me time to address some repairs I had thought out of reach of this coupon. In short, within my 2 hours, my handyman had patched a crack in my concrete steps and in the driveway (using a mix I had on hand as well as some materials he had in his truck), moved my air conditioner to the basement, and performed many tasks that single women call “please move this and put it there”. All of this performed with courtesy and skill. Myriad Handyman Services has certainly earned my loyalty. Instead of filling up my time with an overkill fix of my door, my money could be spent on a list of other little things that needed to be done. Bravo, Myriad Handyman Services! Well done!"

"I was amazed. We had 10 new windows replaced, and after working a 10 hour day, I was dreading going home & cleaning for the next 10 hours. But when I walked inside my home you didn't even know they were there. everything was placed back to where it belonged, there was no mess to vacuum. There also was no mess outside, my garden was not even touched. The only thing I had to do was wash the windows and hang the curtains. They were very nice & polite, professional men who installed the windows. The windows themselves are 100% perfect. We could not be happier and could kick ourselves for not doing it sooner. They gave us a date in July for Installation. They arrived in May."
