"I’m back again to write another stellar review for GAC. Last year they replaced our HVAC system; this year we circled back and had them install a home generator. This was a long and drawn out process due to the various approvals needed from Montgomery County as well as coordination with Washington Gas (which ended up not just being a simple sign off but necessitating an additional, expensive upgrade to the gas line from the street to our home). Nevertheless, GAC did a fantastic job shepherding this process over the 6+ months of waiting on stakeholders, and they were also maximally accommodating to our family’s significant constraints on time and availability (due to health concerns related to a medically fragile family member). A special kudos to Sandy M, GAC’s master electrician, who took it on personally to ensure we were taken care of all throughout this process, going above and beyond with phone calls, text messages, personal visits, etc. on behalf of my family, I want to thank GAC and am giving top marks across the board for this effort which was complex , lengthy, and ultimately successful."

I called him and he was able to provide a same-day appointment within a few hours! "I called a few HVAC companies on a Saturday morning, due to my A/C only blowing cool to warm air. After speaking with a couple of other companies that advertised as providing 24/7 service, Blue Dot was the only company that would come out on that Saturday. The technician that came out was named Dwight ("DJ"). DJ was exceptional! He took the time to explain what he was doing and why it was necessary. He also provided tips on how to maintain the a/c unit to keep it running efficiently. He was courteous, professional, and patient with answering my questions with a positive attitude. He repaired the unit during the visit. DJ turned a stressful situation (worrying about the possible repair) into a smooth and reassuring experience with his expertise and positive attitude."

"Fantastic service and is now my go-to for any HVAC issues. AC wasn’t blowing cold in June during covid. Hopped on Internet to look for good reviewed HVAC repair and the first couple of good reviewed places I called either weren’t taking new clients or who’s first available appointments were weeks away. Called MD H&C and they were able to fit me in the following day. They gave me the price of each step BEFORE performing the step and making sure I consent (i.e. our diagnosis fee is X amount, ok your issue is this...the cost to fix it plus the diagnosis will cost Y, etc). There also were no hidden charges. The number I was provided was what I paid and I thought a very fair/good number. They also educated me each step of the way and showed me what caused the issue and how they would fix it. I have dial zone HVAC with both the same condescending unit brands for each level. They even checked the 2nd one out free of charge and fixed some things to prevent the same issue from happening in that one in the future (it was on its way to the same issue). Cannot recommend Maryland Heating and Cooling enough. Will use them for all my future needs!"
