"It's the night before I need to leave town for a work trip in the middle of the pandemic. I hear some noise downstairs that doesn't sound quite like traffic...a pipe in my garage cracked in three different places and started spraying water all over my garage. I scrambled to find and call a plumber. James picked up right away and was at my house within two hours. He had all the tools and replacement materials needed to complete the job efficiently. In less than an hour, the old, cracked pipe was gone, the new material was installed and I was able to run water throughout my house with no leaks. "Our water heater needed to be replaced and this was my first Angie's List purchase.  $600 for installation including a 40-50 gallon name brand water heater plus they will take away the old one.  We initially wanted to consider a tankless water heater but the price was right and we needed this completed fairly soon as we were on borrowed time.  Just do it, right?  We did and it was completed.  I asked what brand water heater and I researched the brand with negative satisfaction results.  I was not happy but I already bought the offer.  The technician replaced our water heater with a 40 gallon AO Smith brand which was exactly the brand I wanted.  I am happy for that but he wanted an extra $250 for a permit and straps.  Shouldn't that be part of the installation?  My husband made a call to Angie's List and voila, all of the sudden, no extra fee!  But also no permit or straps.  THANK YOU, ANGIE'S LIST!  However.  Is our water heater within code without a permit and without straps?  We don't know but wedo have hot water."

"Val did an outstanding job. He is proficient, thorough, did this job with ease. My husband thought we could replace a toilet ourselves after viewing a you-tube video. We do not have these skills... The first thing Val did is to shut off the water. That was rusted, then leaking!!!. OMG I was grateful we hire a true professional. Val, The Flying Plumber was outstanding!!! Dec 26th.  I was on vacation when a friend who was watching over our house called me to let me know I had a leak in my roof and water was dripping into the back bedroom.  I knew I needed someone to help mitigate the water and help find the source of the leak.
I went to Angie?s list on my iPad and found Marc at Above All Cleaning and Restoration so I decided to call him based on pervious reviews.
Marc answered right away, and was at my home inspecting the damage in a few hours.  He gave me updates and photos so I could view for myself what had happened.  This all took place while I was 2800 miles away in Puerto Rico and I was not going to be home for another two weeks.  What impressed me the most about Marc was he was about making sure everything was taken care, He told me not to worry about a deposit we could take care of it when I get home.  He was concerned about taking care of my issue and making sure my home was secure.  Marc had a roofer out to find the source of the leak; it was an ice dam so it cleared up as it melted but would need to be repaired. 
Marc started the water mitigation process to prevent mold and dry out the space.  He help start working on what was going to be needed to fix the roof, replace drywall and paint and texture my ceiling. So everything was ready for me when I returned home.
I cannot tell you how relieved I was to have found someone like Marc.  When you are so far away from home and you are having an issue like this can be overwhelming. 
Everything from the initial water mitigation to the roofing repair work, the drywall crew, the texture and painting the ceiling went very smooth. Everyone on Marc?s team and people he referred me to, were the best.  He has a great team and knows the right people. 
All of the work would have been done sooner if I did not need to deal with the previous owner regarding the roof ?guarantee? they gave us when we purchased the house.  From the time we started with fixing the roof the finishing up with painting the ceiling and cleaning the carpets was a week and a half at most."

"The service technician, Chad, was punctual, professional, and efficient. After diagnosing the source of the sprinkler line leak, and discovering there were a couple more leaks nearby, he kept me updated on the issues and his recommended repairs. The extensiveness of the leak was larger than I expected, but I really appreciated Chad's thorough review of the whole area to identify every leak while he had the area uncovered. I am extremely satisfied with his attention to detail, because you can pay for water leaks now (by repairing them) or you can pay for them later (while they are "leaking" money from your wallet). I will be using Time Plumbing again and requesting Chad and have already passed his information on to my friends."
