"I recently had work done on several different occasions by Rob (personally) and his crews: HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and demo work. All done professionally, efficiently, and at a fair price. I highly recommend Mr Fix It for your next renovation or repair work."

"All went very well. They came as scheduled, completed the work as expected, and left the area neat. Paul addressed my concerns and answered my questions. They needed to replace the 3" pipe with a 4" pipe and considered access to the surrounding shelves when placing the new pipe."

"Very well. The guys had to come twice that's only because the faucet needed to be replaced. I bought a new faucet that day and the next day the guys came back and installed the new faucet. The guys were friendly, polite and professional."

"Professional, courteous, respectful, connected customer relationship and communication focused from first contact with owner Jake to administrator Amy to technician Robert. We received an email and a call from Amy notifying that Robert was on his way. Robert diagnosed the problems, described the solutions and made the repairs. Our clogged kitchen drain has been clear since his industrial snaking. And our "singing pipes" was actually a defective toilet closet mechanism which he replaced. He was the 3rd plumber we had in to fix the singing pipes and the only one who actually solved the problem. Robert was friendly, efficient and respectful leaving our place clean after his work. He was also willing to walk through the house to help us see if there was any other plumbing problems that needed repairing. We had pre-paid for an emergency/after hours visit which was higher than for regular hours. As it turned out, we ended up getting a regular hours timeslot due to a cancellation. The pre-payment was applied to the final bill collected by Robert at end of service, just as explained by Jake and confirmed by Amy. We will be calling Alliance Service Professionals again if/when we need plumbing done well by skillful and experienced professionals with respect for people and property."

"Friendly Plumber named Sam I believe. Did good work. Only complaint was he could have cleaned up better. Small pieces of removed pipe, valves, etc. were left around. Also, when he cut hole in my wall to get to the shower diverter, he didn't cut it a standard 14x14. I agreed to repair the wall myself, but had to fix a few inches of plasterboard at the bottom (measure, cut small piece off removed plasterboard and tape and spackle in place), then a standard 14x14 plastic access door, which you can find at any hardware or plumbing supply company, could fit in the rest of the hole above that section. Hole was uneven, but that would have been fine if it was 14x14 or smaller. Otherwise, he did a good job and stayed until it was done. Not cheap, but no plumbers are nowadays. They quoted a fixed price and he had to stay several hours to finish it completely so at least he didn't try to cut corners. Overall, he did the work and was nice, but he could have done better on some details as I mentioned."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Englishtown, NJ

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
