"The job that was done was done well and the technician ithat did the install was friendly, courteous, helpful and honest. The lights we purchased did not wind up fitting in the bathroom where they were supposed to go but that was our fault. So, instead we had the lights installed above the fireplace in place of the 2 that were there. Everything about the company, service and job that wound up being done was great. My only issue is with the "original" price, which is why I gave price a "C" rating. In retrospect, the original price (i.e., the estimate for the work that was to be done originally in the bathroom -- before finding out the lights did not fit) was very high in comparison to finding out later from a general contractor that he could have done it for half the price. Again, that is my fault, not the company's so next time I will get 2 more quotes. In the company's defense, I will say that because the lights did not fit in the bathroom and we quickly decided to have them installed elsewhere and that got done in the same visit, we might have wound up spending more anyway. However, installing them above the fireplace was a no-brainer - direct replacement that did not require cutting wall. What is commendable is the flexibility of the technician to see we were happy. So, from that standpoint, that is why everything else is excellent. I suppose one could argue that a cheaper price does not mean better quality or service and that may be true. I know my contractor though and he would have done a great job on that work for half the cost. Bottom line, this company is a quality company and I would recommend them. Just get at least one other quote.

"Everything was excellent. The team identified the hole in our pool liner. On the day of replacing the liner, identified a potentially severe issue with the structure of the pool. Provided a recommendation for a replacement pool. Proceeded to remove the old pool and excavate the land in preparation for construction of the new pool. Once the new pool arrived, they constructed the pool and constructed new outline landscaping around the pool. We are now the envy of our neighbors who have all watched and gazed in amazement at our new backyard oasis. For all of your pool needs, this is who you need to contact ASAP."

"On a Wednesday NJ Natural Gas found two gas leaks in our basement. One at our hot water heater and one on a corroded pipe at the foundation right inside where the pipe goes out to the meter. The latter was the more severe leak. NJ Natural gas turned our gas off. I called Mastropiero on Thursday morning on the recommendation of a friend. The receptionist was friendly and reassuring in terms of being able to get the work done quickly. A technician was at our house within a few hours. He inspected the two spots, provided a general idea of what would be required, indicated that the work was fairly routine, and that the cost would be under $1000 but a final estimate would be provided later that day. The gas company had thought there would have to be cutting and unions installed along the corroded pipes. Mastropiero however proposed replacing the pipes altogether, certainly saving time. And in terms of the labor costs, money too, I would presume. Later that day an estimate of $750 was given, an estimated 3 hours of work, and the job was scheduled for the following morning, Friday. On Friday, the plumber arrived on schedule and as indicated, replaced the leaking pipes. There's not much more to say than that they did the work promised, on schedule, and at the cost quoted. I feared that a gas leak could be a major problem, but Mastropiero handled so that it was not. NJ Natural Gas had set up our meter so that the plumber could restore service after the job was completed. So within about 36 hours of losing service, we had it back with new pipes less likely to corrode again. NJ Natural Gas came on the following Monday to confirm that the leaks were gone and the work had all been done to code and standards. It was. As our initial experience with them was one of courtesy, professionalism, and results, we will use Mastropiero again without hesitation."

"The job went very well. The team of 2 were very professional and explained everything that they were going to do before starting the work. They estimated the complete effort would take 3 to 4 hours and that was what the job took. Upon completion of the work, they re-ran tests with me so I could see that everything was performing as expected. They answered all my questions and were extremely patient and thorough. The devices that they provide e.g. the thermostat appear to be high-end and a bit pricey. But I am comparing their devices to the ones provided by my builder when the home was built in 2006 which may have been on the low-end of the scale. For example, the electronic media filters used by my developer are no longer being made.
This was my second time using Friendly Electric. Previously in June 2013, they replaced all of my original smoke and CO2 detectors. That was a very successful work effort as well.

"Dave Polo has a great online scheduling system, that makes it very easy for see his availabilty and his prices. The price above included a septic tank inspection by BeachStone Septic Corporation that Dave engaged and who were also very professional, very through and a great source of information. Dave was very thorough, we began on the roof and then worked ourselves around the outside of the house. We took notes as he mentioned things and he used his handy recorder to help him with his notes to put into the report. Our house has 3000 sq. ft and I feel confident that he covered much of that area. He was very thorough - looking high and looking low, pointing out the good, the bad and the things for us to improve the condition of the house. His report was about 8-9 pages and very detailed. It was a great source to go back to the sellers and asked for the significant things to be addressed or help us with some $$$."

"I had a water damage to the floor and need to re-install the laminate floor. I found this company, and it was fantastic! I talked with Trimaine, and they are very responsive and professional. The team comes on-time, and very thorough when doing the work. They listen to the customers patiently and address their concerns. The price is very reasonable. You would have the peace of mind for their work. I will definitely recommend the company for any floor work. Thank you!!"

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
